Liked Nice site, our second visit here. Quiet location. Easy arrival process. Pick your own pitch. Good dog run area. Clean and new amenity block. Well located for Yorkshire Dales. Good value for money site.

Disliked Been a bit picky but pitches could be more level and slightly better maintained. The grassed area around the pitches and the site could do with a cut.

Liked Good clean site, good facilities, good pitch, nice bar, restaurant, outdoor seating area, friendly staff. Lovely woodland walk which was great for dogs.

Disliked Nothing particularly to dislike about the site. The steps up/down to the facility block could potentially be a bit precarious in wet/cold weather. Also found the ANPR barrier slow to rise but minor points.

Liked Very nice clean site. Good sized private pitch. Excellent dog field for those with four legged friends. Good easy access from the M5. Excellent site for a stop off on way down to Devon/Cornwall.

Disliked Only negative comment is that it is next to a busy road. Local dog walks were mentioned but involved in part walking alongside this road.

While our location offers excellent access to Cheltenham, Gloucester and the motorway network, we understand that some local walks do involve short sections alongside roads before reaching quieter routes and green spaces. Liked Nice site, well located within easy driving distance of Pickering and the surrounding area. Easily accessible site with the caravan. Good number of hard standing pitches. Good amenity block and facilities. Excellent walks around the farm land all well sign posted. Excellent with those wanting dog walks on site.

Disliked No real dislikes. You pay for your electric on arrival but felt the lower pitch fees accommodated this so no real issue. We used approximately £20 of electric over a 4 night stay in February.
