Liked Toilet and shower block spotlessly clean. Site was also well maintained. Large pitches. Quiet spot even though it was fully booked on most nights of our stay. Close to explore Ullswater and Pooley Bridge.

Liked We had a lovely stay at this peaceful, family-friendly site. The pitches are really spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax, and everything is kept immaculately clean. The staff were all friendly and always happy to help, whether it was answering questions or just having a chat—they really made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our boys absolutely loved Pablo’s pizzas, which quickly became a highlight of the trip, and the fishing was great too—perfect for unwinding and keeping the kids entertained. There’s a great balance here of activities and relaxation, so it never feels too busy or too quiet. We also visited Erddig National Trust, just a 20-minute drive away, which was a fantastic day out for the whole family. The grounds are beautiful, and there’s plenty to explore, making it well worth the visit. Overall, it’s a brilliant site for families looking for a relaxing break with plenty to do nearby. We’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Liked We had a fantastic stay at Woodside Caravan Park. It’s a lovely site with a beautiful, well-stocked fishing lake that our boys absolutely loved spending time at. The little cabin for making a cuppa was such a nice touch. The shower and toilet block was spotless – by far the cleanest we’ve ever seen at a site! Dennis was a brilliant host, and the home-grown tomatoes were delicious. We can’t wait to come back!

Liked We really enjoyed our stay here! All the facilities were great, especially the showers—they were spotless and always clean, which really makes a difference. The whole park was super tidy and well looked after. The pitches were a good size, so we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The location is lovely and peaceful, with easy access to the River Severn—perfect for a nice walk or just taking in the scenery. For the price, it was excellent value. A really relaxing and quiet stay—we’d definitely come back!
