Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Disliked We have just stayed at the snooty fox in our touring caravan. So my review will be based on the touring side. The area of the snooty fox has breathtaking views of the local countryside hills. Unfortunately I have to be honest, I don't think this site is currently suitable for touring caravans, the pitches are tightly squeezed together and we feel like sardines, the neighbouring people next to us constantly parked their car right outside our awning door as she didn't have anywhere else to park it without it obstructing the road. We were so close together with other campers that we had children tripping over our awning guide ropes. We even had random children constantly come into our awning to see our dogs so had to keep the doors shut. Considering they advertise on pitch up for tourers, there are no washing up facilities and no chemical waste disposal, there is just one single womens toilet and one male toilet for the whole site. And only two large waste bins which are absolutely overflowing. The site is covered in stone/hardcore which although is a good idea it's quite noisy with the amount of cars that drive on an off the site till quite late at night and my little dog has very sensitive paws and wouldn't walk on it so I had to carry him off site just to walk him. On arrival you're given a sheet of paper with some rules, one rule is that if you have a dog, you must take the shortest route off site to walk them, for me, this was out the entrance and straight onto an incredibly busy road that isn't lit up at night, so as a young women walking her dog alone, wasn't very nice and quite scary. There isn't actually anywhere that I've seen is safe to walk your dog. With a rule like that does not scream dog friendly, that's telling me, get off the site to walk your dog haha. The children's playground is secure and my little boy had a lot of fun there but the wall climbing part needs repairing as some ropes where snapped and rocks where also missing from the wall. Can't fault the staff though, they are very friendly and helpful. This site has a lot of potential, hopefully as the site grows, they may add better facilities for people touring.
