Liked Lovely remote setting for campsite, well away from the road. Great layout with ample spacing between pitches, clean toilets and showers, friendly team of staff. Liked that it was child free and very dog friendly. Monty’s bar great for evening drinks, closes quite early- 8pm when we were there, even though it was very busy. Different food vendors in the evening; pizza van, fish & chips, Greek, Thai etc. WiFi good. Really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Disliked Showers quite small, not much room for clothing / dressing. Early closing for the bar.

Did you see the block outside the reception? These are really large individual shower rooms with all of the facilities and may have suited you better. Regards Monty's Bar closing time, 8.00pm is considered the right time to close to keep within our ethos of being a tranquil park so that our guests can still have a quiet and peaceful evening. Liked Second visit to this lovely site, which is very friendly and welcoming and is spotlessly clean. Shower / toilet block is modern, very roomy and kept very clean. Plenty of room between pitches. Lovely location for a quiet break. Nice pub at the end of the road, dogs allowed outside only, with nice menu.

Disliked Location is quite rural, need a car travel to nearby sites and attractions but not really anything to dislike. WiFi available to purchase at a reasonable price and we tried several times but it wouldn’t connect

Liked Really friendly owners and close to the lovely Woodhall Spa.

Disliked No organised pitches, seemed to be jammed in at all angles, really close together so no privacy at all. Really needs to be laid out in numbered bays like other sites we had visited. Pitches were very close to the septic tank and the smell was horrible and there were only 3 unisex loos and the disabled door didn't lock so anyone could walk in!

From the manager: Sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, you didn't mention anything when you were on site for the one night, the pitch which you were on was pitch 11 and it is numbered on a small post with an orange marker. The pitches which are not numbered are the non electric metered pitches, we show all of our guests to their pitch to ensure they know where they are and where the facilities are. All the pitches are laid out with adequate if not more spacing than required, they are not regimented as on some sites, however it was a very busy weekend and all of the pitches were occupied. This is our first season and the site is still work in progress. Thank you for bringing the unpleasant smell to our attention, no one else has mentioned it, we will be looking into this ensuring it is sorted out. We can assure you that all the toilet/shower doors lock, the handle just requires lifting up on the door which you have mentioned. Take care Fiona and Paul

Liked Really friendly site, accommodated us a day earlier than booked with no problem. Lovely space, spread out pitches with plenty of privacy, shower blocks well maintained. Would definitely go again

Disliked Shower space on the small side to wash and dress in.
