Liked Nice chap, not the owner, directed us to a spot with electric, near the fence away from a tight row of caravans on gravel pitches.

Disliked Felt more like Glastonbury with a fire on the ground nearby and gathering with noise later than advised. Caravans close together. Here’s the pain. “Paid via Pitch up” only to discover we hadn’t paid in full. Polite message from female owner to this effect but we explained we were unable to access bank accounts due to poor signal. Phoned the messager who advised we could pay as soon as we had signal. Next, nasty message from Tony saying if we didn’t pay he’d sully our names and we’d never get a pitch up site again! Said we were absconders despite having made arrangements to pay once we had a signal.

Liked Arrived to a warm greeting and fuss free parking up of our motorhome the pitch for which we could choose ourselves from those not occupied. Fabulous setting and dog friendly with really beautiful walks nearby. Cheddar village is a short walk away and the Gorge at the top. Well stocked little shop in the reception area and all facilities very clean. The wash-up is bursting with information about the surrounding areas. Highly recommended !
