Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Central for sight seeing. Shower blocks; free and plenty of room in the shower stalls and moss of hot water.
Disliked Two different parks. If you booked direct you went onto park One. Park One was lovely with grass at the sides of the caravans and a view of the lake. If you booked via Pitchup you went into park two. Park two was all dark grey gravel. Rock hard ground; nightmare for putting up an awning. No grass any where. No views to speak of.

Liked Fabulous. Nothing on the site. Adults only. Peaceful. Surrounded my beautiful countryside. Close enough to amenities; Kirby Lonsdale 10 mins by car. Well worth a visit.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Just as we were about to set off on our holiday, we’d hooked the van up, the master cylinder on the clutch failed. Bang goes out holiday we thought. Not a chance said Dawn and Col (site managers). Came all the way from Doncaster to Oldham, hooked our caravan up and took us to the site. That’s customer service. Didn’t have to do it. The site has already had payment in full. They then proceeded to make our stay with them absolutely memorable. Truly wonderful people. We will be going again, and again. Stunning site, fab bar and staff. Made our holiday.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring caravan pitch
Liked The site was lovely. The toilet/shower block was first class. Quiet, well maintained. Rose is lovely, engaging and helpful.
Disliked The lanes in and out of the caravan park. Tiny single track roads, no passing places and lots of huge pot holes. Watch out if you’ve a motor mover on your ‘van.

From the manager: Dear Dorothy, Thank you for your lovely review! We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful setting, well-maintained site and our facilities. we take great pride in keeping everything to a high standard. It was a pleasure having you stay with us. We completely understand that the country lanes can be a challenge , especially for those not used to rural driving. While they do add to the charm and tranquility of our location, we always recommend taking it slow and planning arrival times to avoid the busiest periods. we appreciate your feedback and will continue to share any updates on local road conditions with our guests. we'd love to welcome you back in the future. safe travels and thank you again for your kind words. Liked Loved it. Small, quiet site. 7 pitches. No children or parties allowed. Own facilities required but doesn’t detract from the place. Nestled in the Pendle hills. Easy access to the towns and villages surrounding. Just perfect. Wish we’d booked for longer than the 4 nights. Booking again for Easter 2024.
Disliked Nothing. Even the sheep were well behaved and pretty.
