Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Spacious, level gravel pitches. Toilets and showers were very clean and fresh. Plenty of hot water. Owners very helpful and friendly. Loved the walk straight from the campsite past some waterfalls and along a quite lane into Brecon (approx 1.6 miles). We were also able to walk up Pen y Fan directly from the campsite. This was a 10 mile loop following the route marked out on the board at the carpark, returning via Corn Ddu.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Fantastic views, clean facilities and plenty of space. Friendly owner. Firepits and logs available. Simple, semi wild site with a very well maintained compost toilets with washbasin. So quiet here, just the birds and the sheep!
Disliked Nothing to dislike really. Was a bit windy, but you need to be exposed to get the views

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Lovely secluded setting amongst the trees. Rustic feel with solar shower (very warm!) and compost toilets. Very dog friendly. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Camp kitchen area ideal for wet weather. Had a lovely swim in the pool, perfect on a hot day after walking the Two Moors Way.
This would be a great choice for a large group or family celebration.

Chichester, West Sussex, England
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Beautiful setting, spacious pitches, lovely views, very friendly owner, Rachel, came round to say hello and check if all OK, offered logs, firepit etc. Clean toilets (portaloos).
Could bring your own firepit as long as its off the ground. Site was fully booked but did not seem crowded as there is a lovely area of long meadow grass in the centre of the field. Location ideal for South Downs, Goodwood, Halnaker and Boxgrove all within a short drive.
Disliked Nothing really, although the field was slightly sloping so levelling blocks would be useful. Access is bumpy, but fine if you take it slow.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Fantastic views across valley and to the sea. Pitches were good size. Toilets were in a converted horse box, well set up, very fresh and clean, plenty of soap and loo roll. Very friendly owners.
Disliked Quite expensive for a single backpacker, as they charge per pitch rather than per person. Despite just being me and a small backpacker tent, no car, I had to pay extra for the dog.
Shower wasn't working as they had a problem with the boiler

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I'm sorry during your stay one of the boilers were faulty however the other 1 in that block was OK plus 2 more in the other block, maybe you weren't aware. We hope that hasn't put you off visiting us again and that you had an enjoyable stay.
