Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Despite it not being adult only it was still very quiet, fab views, good sized pitches. Nice dog friendly bar and courtyard. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Will definitely recommend
Disliked The food in the pub wasn’t good, £13 quid for a chicken pizza with very little chicken but tons of Bbq sauce. Seriously a mission to empty the toilet cassette. Asked the better half to make a cuppa as I set off, it was cold upon return.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Not much, with bad weather this isn’t a good place to be.
Disliked Oh where to start, when I read previous reviews the words “building site” were used often. It hasn’t changed, our gut feeling was it needs quite a bit of cash and time spent on this site and perhaps the owners have neither. Nothing worked, shower block wasn’t heated and to get there you had to navigate past a digger, cement mixer and piles of stone.
Such a shame because this could be a fab site.

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (large)
Liked Showers the best we have used. The couple who run the site are fantastic
Spotless and generous pitch sizes
Disliked Not a lot to do in the area without driving and Shrewsbury was gridlocked most days

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Large pitch
Disliked Shower block, only 1 and it was a 5 minute walk from pitch and being used, managed to shower in toilets but it was tiny and my clothes got wet, 2nd day went over 15 minutes before cleaner was due to finish and got the bigger shower.
Dogs. We have 2 always on a lead there were 3 families that let their dogs roam. If another dog enters our space are dogs (like most) will protect us. Very unhappy about that. Also not a very friendly site, you say “hi good morning” and get looked at like you’re a weirdo. Most definitely will not return.

Hawk electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Everything off the site, fabulous walk through 6 fields to the pub
Brilliant for our dogs, nice pub and fab meal, lamb Sunday roast, aunt Bessie’s roasties and for mash was smash but loads of lamb, enjoyed it . Downside was the mud, it was shocking. Ok ok it’s been a crap summer but this was our 1st (and last) ever pitch with awning on grass. Brand new caravan covered in mud despite changing shoes, awning inside splattered with mud just from walking in it.
Would come back but only if awning was hard standing but apparently it shuts end of august so maybe not eh
Disliked Mud, showers and men’s sit down loo, only 1 and once in it was hard to get out
