Non-electric grass pitch
Liked That I know the site is lovely, free range access and pitching. Great services from previous visits
Disliked Customer service between pitchup and Ashhurst. I advised I might by slightly late and asked is there any facility to cope with that, otherwise I would book elsewhere. I received no response, however now understand there is a facility to cope with slightly late (12 minutes in my case) arrivals. If they had read the note I added to pitchup, I would have been able to stay. As it is I didn't get to and spent two hours searching for someplace else. On calling, ashhurst just blamed Pitchup. The isn't hard guys - Pitchup need to provide the notes people leave on their booking to the sites, and the sites need to read them and respond if they want future business.

Electric optional grass and earth pitch
Liked The location - both the site which is flat and lovely and open, and the town which is absolutely stunning, ensured a lovely short stay. The pitches are flat and hard. Access roads and water and electric plentiful, and the facilities are 5 star
Disliked I was unlucky being at the end of the season... The amount of work on the hedge around the site with multiple full size trucks, a digger and dump truck was unreasonable on an open site. The otherwise very peaceful site was completely not peaceful because of this. Next time this amount of work is needed, the site should be shut.
The grass around my pitch was so stoney getting pegs in for the awning was tricky. Bring good pegs and a good mallet!

Electric optional grass and earth pitch
Liked The friendly reception and guests. The showers and loos were spotless at all times. The plots a decent size - they are open plan though so bear in mind. The location is perfect for local shops, the beaches, and the best cycle routes.

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked The tranquility and super friendly feeling of the place and owners \ staff. Food was yum - just what you need if you cba or want some company. Pitches level and coping well with all the water logging from rain. At night the owls were noisy but I love that. Loos and showers all clean and modern and functional. The little shop is a great idea.
Disliked Not being able to stay longer, which is entirely my own doing

Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Loved the peace and quiet, the views, that it's a small site (and empty on my trip).
The campervan pitches are flat and vast.
The tap for water is closeby, loos are spotless and zero smell. The rain showers were warm and spacious.
'Kitchen' is an open air sink, but with hot water on tap and allowed for dish washing.
The area is lovely and dark so star spotting pretty good too.
Special thanks to Will for checking in with me before I arrived to ensure a smooth stay.

Outer Meadow electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Loved the location, the chilled atmosphere, the views, the shower and toilet facilities, the electric hookups and water everywhere, WiFi access, and on site mini shop and the bar with takeaway food. Pitches were pretty flat. Grass was short. Just everything you ever need for a quiet peaceful relaxing stay in Cornwall
Disliked The WiFi needs a bit of work (there was no 3g or better for me on 3. Think it was simply the max number of possible connections that caused the problem rather than speed or the range.
