Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Had a lovely weekend at this campsite. Lady who welcomed us is like an angel. So warm and friendly and kind. Site is very well maintained, peaceful and quiet, with spotless facilities. There are alpacas and sheep on site, and every morning lady is going round the tents and gives food for them so you can go and feed alpacas 🤩Its a great entertainment for whole family. We will be definitely coming back to this site, see you soon 🤩

Liked What a phenomenal campsite. This was our first stay, and we will definitely come back there. Site is well looked after, with unmatchable level pitches, spotless showers and wash up facilities. Not many people mention this, but the ground is very firm which I think is a huge advantage, because once you get your pegs in, there is no way wind will cause them to come out. Make sure you got some decent set. I always use screwable ones.
Site is peaceful quiet and friendly.
I loved them recycling bins in the wash up area. Many sites never thought about it.
Owner extremely lovely and friendly and welcoming. You can tell that the staff is very hard working because site is basically immaculate.
You can bring your own fire pit and fire wood as long as it’s raised of the ground.
Great WiFi on site and fresh water nearby pitch, CCTV 24/7 for safety, simple and clear rules, that’s a A++++++ campsite.
See you soon :)

Electric optional grass and earth pitch
Liked We had a fantastic stay on this lovely green campsite with pitches surrounded by fruit trees. We were given two pitches to choose from, as it was a little bit wet. Staff was absolutely great and very helpful even with recommendations about things to do nearby. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities were always well looked after, it’s a busy family orientated campsite so be prepared for queues in the morning. There is nice pub on site, water park with two slides, and nice and warm water (the only thing I don’t understand is why they require tight swimming shorts) bouncy castle, trampolines and many many more for young ones. I wish we could have a fire pit, but probably due to amount of trees and bushes, that wasn’t allowed for safety reason. Overnight there is a patrol with dog walking round the site to increase everyone’s safety. Overall very happy with our stay, 5 stairs from me.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Hard to say a lot, as we have only stayed there for one night. We liked that peaceful location and the fact that we could pitch anywhere we wanted as its a basically working farm with bit of land for tents. Also what's worth mention is, that we could have a fire pit, it's a dogs friendly campsite, but due to the animals around they must be obviously kept on leads. Site is tidy with always clean toilet facility. Don't expect shower blocks - there is not any. Good campsite for backpack travellers I'd say. I would recommend if you walk in Peak District and looking for place to rest for night or two.
