What customers say
This is a consistently praised, family-friendly campsite offering a peaceful and clean environment in a beautiful location. Visitors highlight the well-maintained facilities, spacious pitches, and friendly, helpful staff. The on-site shop and alpacas are popular additions. Minor points include a desire for more play equipment and occasional Wi-Fi limitations, but overall, guests highly recommend and plan to return.

Good for adults, not for young families
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Nice location, good views, very handy for Bala. Clean and tidy site. Quite and peaceful. Very cute and friendly alpacas.
Owner placed our pitch next to our friends which was nice.
Disliked We traveled with several young kids and picked this site because it had a park listed but once we got there we discovered the swings had been taken down/chained up. Very depressing for the kids. Half the camping area had been ripped up and reseeded which looked grim and made very little space for the kids to play (especially with the loss of he swings).
Showers were clean but no benches, places to put your stuff so very awkward with young children. Also only 3 showers each for men/women which wasn't enough for the size of the site.
Overall a nice site for adults spending the day on the lake but we wouldn't come back with kids.
