From the manager: Lovely to meet you and welcome you all to stay, your photos are great and show what a fabulous time you had! There is so much to see in York with the rich railway and Viking history etc ..The rabbits do love to make their presence felt :) Look forward to welcoming you back to stay again. Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Everything. Booked for a week. But enjoyed so much added another couple of nights.
Fantastic views over Penzance. Spacious free showers. Clean toilets. Owners go above and beyond to ensure everything is as it should be. We will be back. My previous review mentioned dog poop. This was a fellow camper and owner was unaware, in hindsight I should have reported the issue immediately to the owners who would have sorted this promptly. Site is sloping but there are blocks available to level.
Disliked Nothing.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Easily booked on pitch up.
Friendly welcome.
Excellent views over Penzance.
Hot spacious free showers. Elsan point very good.
Disliked Little bit squashed in but this is because site slopes and caravans use top of hill and raise front of caravan to level. We managed using trolley jack under tow bar of car. Don't use corner steadies as some do! But not too squashed in to be a problem. Dog poo we found all around our caravan daily. So be careful in the morning! Think dogs allowed to wander off lead at night.

Looe, Cornwall, England
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Excellent pre-arrival communication ensured that our journey along narrow lanes was accurate and easily navigated despite towing an 8 metre twin axle caravan.
Peter, Lucy & Jane made us extremely welcome. Pitched perfectly and fresh water & waste close to hand.
Two shower rooms provided free hot showers. Three portlaloo too though we had our own loo in caravan.
Children were encouraged to help with sheep shearing and enjoyed a full day of antics.
The two goats were adored by the children and many hours spent feeding and learning from Lucy.
A more welcoming, friendly and genuinely nice down to earth hard working rural farming family you will not meet.
Absolutely fantastic fortnight.
Polperro is 15 minutes downhill walk. Depending upon amount of delicious Cornish pasties eaten from "Taste Buds" will vary your return speed uphill.
Polperro is one of the prettiest and unchanged Cornish villages. Safe swimming on harbour beach and sea swimming pool. Coastal walks to Looe.
Bus services to Looe and Fowey.
No complaints whatsoever I have only very very positive things to say.
I am from a farming family and I guess it'll suit those who wish to stay on a genuine farm.
Camping field is large.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Clear booking information and updates.
Very friendly helpful staff.
Perfect showers and toilets if required. Location within the forest is excellent for exploring. Pop up on site shop had everything.
Kids played football well away from campers. Feeling of freedom and a friendly atmosphere with dog walkers, mountain bikers and families all happily enjoying the forest atmosphere. Pop up shop and facilities were very much welcomed and a great cafe stop for people passing by.
Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Views. Short walk to beaches. Woodland walk.
Disliked Compost toilets are great in principal if staff checked them more frequently. As site got busy, toilets were in a terrible state.
No evidence of cleaning, no loo paper, no soap to wash hands after... Fresh water standpipe was used by everyone after visiting the loo. Same water tap used to fill drinking water containers .
Not enough saw dust in containers.
Minor moan. Could have been a far more pleasant experience.

Non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Friendly owner/ staff.
Showers/ toilets/ wash area was kept spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water. Walks from the door. Excellent kiosk on site.
Disliked Mosquito in large numbers at night in shower/ toilets. But to be expected being peak summer.
If doors auto closed would help this issue. A minor complaint really.

From the manager: Thank-you for your feedback on insects and suggesting door closers. We are fitting door closers to all doors and have fitted bug zappers in the toilet block.
