Liked Visited during a quiet period in April and was offered a grass pitch away from facilities to nearer them and the play area for the children. Can't comment on cafe because didn't use it.

From the manager: We will always try to offer the best pitch available to suit the individual needs and are very happy for guest to make contact on arrival if they would prefer an alternative pitch.

Liked No frills level field without marked pitches. Retired couple with grandchildren in campervan adored the simplicity and quietness of being in the countryside. Loos were clean and a little shop at the entrance. Easy to book and really friendly owner.

Liked Relaxed grass field for mixed camping and motorhomes. Children loved animals and children's play area.

Liked Stayed in camper van, one night with grandchildren in school holidays the week before Easter. Good choice as it was quiet. Spotless facilities and spacious pitches. Children loved the playground. Handy to have a small shop. Walking distance to Dobbs Weir and a lovely pub.

Liked Eco friendly site - compostable toilet, clean shower. Good recycling facilities. Lovely views.

Liked We are a mature couple in a camper van with 2 young grandchildren. Booking was straight forward. The host was most helpful. Basic facilities which were spotless. Amazing views and so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.
