Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great site, Good Communication, Friendly, Spaces Well Kept, just enough for a short stay. Mix of Caravan, Touring Tents and Bike/Backpackers. Perfect for my needs of 5 days.
Disliked The shower was Leaking badly and worked only for cold or scalding nothing in between, the 2 toilets were small basically privvies. Enough for a short stay, but not great for long term.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The Site had Great facilities, and friendly family owned staff, who greeted us and made us welcome
Disliked The Site is not very level, At the top there is no level pitches at all, but there is a huge steep hill, which leads down to a level area far away from the facilities, but this means a huge climb back up each time you want to use them.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked With Staycations the norm, Campsites are Busy, mostly Full. This is a pop-up site on a Rugby Pitch, inexpenisve, and with basic facilities it was fine for my needs. Cara & Family were very Friendly and Helpful. The Showers, Loos and Washing areas were fine for what i needed, there was even a Bar.
Disliked Being a Rugby Pitch, Cars were Not Allowed to Drive near to your Tent but must remain in Car Park only. This means Multiple Long Hikes with your Heavy Gear, to an Edge of the Pitch only spot, and no use of your 12v power feed. This was a total Ball-Ache, but considering its a Rugby Pitch, i can understand it.

From the manager: Stuart, thanks for the honest feedback. I am glad you found your stay to be good value for money. I am also glad that you understand the need to preserve the pitches. Safe trip home and look forward to seeing you soon KR Popcorn
