Liked This new and developing site is situated in an amazing location, a short walk away from the dunes and a lovely beach, a picturesque village with great pub and bakery, and only a short drive away from the Drove orchard complex and Old Hunstanton. Whilst facilities here at the moment are limited, they were adequate for our needs, we are pretty self sufficient in outer van. The guys on site were polite and helpful, offering bottled water if needed. We had a lovely huge field area to ourselves which we enjoyed and were free to camp and BBQ at our leisure.

Disliked At present, paying full price for this site is at the top of its money, as there really are only toilets and a shower in a field. However, we knew this when booking, based on others reviews. Hopefully, as the site develops, some areas of shade and wind breaks will be added to enhance the facilities being built on the site.

Liked What a beautiful site! On entry we were greeted by the pretty fishing lake and ducks with their ducklings, and then the friendly owner who gave us a run down of our choice of pitches. The site is a lovely mix of conventional hard standing and grass pitches, as well as more wild and secluded pitches nearer the back of the site. We were lucky enough to have a huge wild area all to ourselves. We really enjoyed the relaxed attitude without loads of rules written up everywhere, and still everyone was respectful of each other and the site. The toilet and shower facilities were clean - never busy when I went to use them. There are washing machines and a kitchen on site too. It was a pleasant walk into Hingham and to the pub, we enjoyed a nice walk around the town.

Disliked Nothing, I would definitely go back and highly recommend if you love a quiet, basic and well kept campsite

Liked Magpie meadow is a beautiful site, well kept and well organised. Toilets very clean and lots of loo roll. Our pitch was big, with a mix of grass and woodland, making it feel very private. A lovely welcome on arrival and lots of good information given. Lovely touches such as a games left out for children and a little hut where you can borrow things like cast iron pans. They seem to have thought of everything.

Disliked The only thing that would have made this place better is if there had been a pub nearby or a place of interest/ river to walk to/ around. There is a Waitrose nearby though.

Liked Loved the setting of this site, under trees and near the water. The fact that you can choose your own pitch and that there was plenty of space around and between other pitches. Toilet and shower block was clean and of a goid standard. Loads of walks and several pubs nearby.

Disliked The fact that there are no fire pits. This would have made it a 10 from us

Liked Quie friendly camp. Well kept and clean composting toilets, wash up and rubbish area. Huge space so you can be fee from other camp
