Tyckte om Vicinity to the national watersport centre. Plenty of space on pitch.

Tyckte inte om We were in the Rafters field. We stayed Saturday to Monday for an event. The shower/toilet block was not cleaned over the entire weekend so come Monday am it was grim.

Tyckte om Location. The country park is lovely and plenty to see and do. Kids enjoyed it. It was our first ever camping experience so we didn't have huge hopes and was only doing one night to dip our toes in.

Tyckte inte om Busy, but that was because there was an event on the weekend we stayed. So no ones fault really.
Some of the toilets didn't flush well and the bathroom facilities maybe need a small revamp. They were ok, adequate for our needs, as we only stayed one night.
Few rowdy people till half ten but when the sun went down, it was quiet.
We were placed right next to a wasp nest which was very awkward. But to be honest, our car was parked between the tent and it, so in fairness they didn't really get in or bother us too much. And I hate wasps so I would have been the first to run a mile.

Tyckte om We loved the site it was our first time camping as a family of 4 and it was a very positive experience.

We apologise for any confusion caused by the gate code being different from the one you received in your email. On this occasion, we had to change the code due to unauthorised individuals attempting to access the site. This was a necessary security measure to help protect our guests and ensure the site remains safe and secure.

We kindly remind all paying guests not to share the gate code with anyone else, as this helps us prevent unauthorised access and maintain a secure environment for everyone staying with us.

no leaflet provided at site reception (map, wifi details etc)
very basic, site needs some ownership and minor tlc.
No info about local shops, bars, cafes etc

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the spacious pitches, our friendly and helpful reception team, the plentiful hot water, our security patrols, and the layout and size of the campsite. It's wonderful to know these aspects helped make your stay an enjoyable one.

We also really appreciate your constructive comments regarding the toilet and shower facilities, pot washing area, Wi-Fi, and additional rubbish bins. Thank you for highlighting these areas. We will take your feedback on board and review our cleaning schedules, including the deep cleaning of the toilet blocks, to ensure they meet the standards our guests expect. We'll also look at the signage for the larger waste bins and consider whether additional general rubbish bins would improve convenience around the site.

We appreciate your understanding regarding the road noise, as this is unfortunately outside of our control, and we'll continue to explore ways to improve the guest experience wherever we can.
