Nem kedvelték Flies everywhere immediately upon arrival. Blue bottle type. All over campsite including indoors areas like the bar. Plagued with them.

Camping field wasnt well cared for.... grass was short but quiet big holes everywhere & leftover xyz from other campers in the grass. It was difficult to find a decent pitch for a medium/large tent.

Facilities such as 'award winning' shower block..... were hot water but the others in the competition must have been bad for these to actually win.... just basic, ordinary shower block - not overly clean or special but not dirty either.

With regards to flies, Crows Nest is a countryside, coastal campsite surrounded by farmland, and during warm weather there can unfortunately be periods where flies are more noticeable. This is not unique to the park and can affect the wider area.

The non electric camping field is a natural grass camping area, not a hardstanding or individually marked pitch field. Guests are able to choose where they pitch within the available space, so some areas will naturally be more suitable than others depending on tent size and ground conditions.

We are sorry you felt the shower block did not meet your expectations. The facilities are cleaned regularly and provide hot water, toilets and showers for a busy family campsite. They may not be luxury facilities, but they are practical and well used by many guests throughout the season.

Kedvelték Lockable wash basin cubicles were great for brushing teeth and getting ready. Much better than doing it at the sinks where people wash their hands after the toilet.

Well stocked shop and really great fish and chip shop on site.

Nem kedvelték This IS NOT A FLAT SITE - both the main camping field and overflow are far from flat, really important to know if you are visiting.

Litter - there was a lot of litter around the perimeter of the site and no one litter picking, we had to pitch in front of a hedge full of litter.

Showers- push button showers with about 10 seconds of time before they go off, tedious when you need a wash. Not always very clean either! Although we did see them cleaned regularly I think this was mostly due to the large amount of people on site using them

No communal freezer for blocks - cool bag blocks can only be frozen in the shop for 20p per block! This was not acceptable to us considering we had paid £40 a night already to camp.

With regards to the site not being flat, Crows Nest is a cliff top campsite and we do not advertise it as a flat site. The views and location are a big part of the appeal, but the natural ground does mean some areas are more sloped than others. Guests on the non electric camping field are able to choose where they pitch, so we would always recommend doing basic research before booking if a completely flat site is important.

We are sorry to hear you noticed litter around the perimeter. We do have bins around the park and the team work hard to keep the site tidy, but during busy periods some guests unfortunately do not dispose of rubbish properly.

The showers are cleaned regularly, as you noted, but they can come under heavy use during peak season and may not always be left as they should be between cleans.

We do not advertise communal freezers. We do offer an ice pack freezing service in the shop as an extra facility, and the 20p per block charge has remained the same for over 10 years. If guests feel this is too expensive, they are of course free not to use it.

Kedvelték Beautiful Caravan and camping park with unreal views. Toilets and showers were alway clean and tidy and the kids loved the park. Best fish and chips and breakfast bar!!

We are really pleased to hear you had such a fantastic stay and enjoyed the unreal views across the coast.

It is lovely to know the toilets and showers were always clean and tidy, the children enjoyed the park, and that the fish and chips and breakfast bar were such highlights.

We appreciate your comments regarding the size of the club and shop. We are not looking to become a Haven style park, and larger facilities can take away from the atmosphere that makes Crows Nest what it is. The bar is also a lot quieter these days than it was in bygone years, so we do not feel extending it would be the right direction for the park.

WiFi is available around the main facilities, although coverage will not reach the far camping field, however there is 5G mobile network coverage across the area. We are glad this did not affect your stay and that it meant more time talking instead.

Brilliant site plenty to do for adults and children
There's a shop on site for all your essentials and chip shop would definatly recommend the food was made fresh and was really tasty
All reasonably priced.
For the kids there's the swimming pool and a big play area to keep them playing for hours
There's all the amenities you need for a great stay the showers are clean .
Has a laundrette and pot wash area
The club is great had entertainment every night.
Would 100% recommend
In an ideal location to get to scarbrough and Bridlington theres a bus stop right outside if you didn't want to drive.
5min from filey and has a local garage at the end of the road and a pub across the way for family meals

Nem kedvelték Shame that you get families that think they can take up space with a lot of cars in their group. Language disgusting even with kids around . Noisy at crack of dawn and after time no respect for other people.

Swimming pool

someone vomiting the water became cloudy the life guards did nothing apart from laugh .From working on pool and being an health inspector you are suppose to call time on pool and clear everyone out to deal with the chemicals and pool .

We are sorry to hear your stay was affected by the behaviour of other guests. People come from all walks of life and can have different standards in how they act and speak around their own children, but we do ask guests be considerate of others while staying on the park.

With regards to the swimming pool, we do not accept that the lifeguards simply laughed and did nothing. The pool is monitored closely, and the safety and cleanliness of the water is always taken seriously.
