Spacious fields, great river access for water fun. Facilities clean, staff friendly. Some electric pitches are a bit cosy, and facilities can get busy. Great country walks nearby.

Powered concrete and grass site
Liked Pitch was great, lovely views, electric and water and clean toilet/shower facilities. The owners were friendly and helpful, came out to see me when I didn’t know how to use the electric (newbie hehe).
The locals were friendly and my kids made friends. We really enjoyed the boot fair in the morning and my kid got the squishy dumplings they were after.
It was a lovely atmosphere and we liked it so much we booked to go back again this weekend. The lady in the reception was kind enough to squeeze us in last minute during the bank holiday weekend. We were made to feel very welcome and looking forward to our return.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave a review.
We try to collect rubbish as much as possible, there are a lot of bins around the campsite and some close to the toilets for guests to use, it would appear that not everyone wants to tidy up after themselves.
We look forward to welcoming you again.

Very welcoming, clean,peaceful campsite
Unpowered grass site
Liked Very welcoming owner, we arrived late and had to call as soon as we arrived at the check in desk. Number to call is very clearly displayed on the front door so easy to find.
The owner was very quick at diving down to get us in. This was our first time at this campsite but she was very good and thorough at explaining everything for us.
The campsite was very spacious, and for a Saturday was very calm and peaceful. The toilets where very clean, and the campsite as a whole had a very nice welcoming atmosphere about it.
Would definitely recommend.
Disliked The only thing i disliked about this campsite was that the grass was quite long, it was a little uncomfortable to sit on and my dog kept losing her ball as it disappeared into the long grass.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay here and for leaving a review as even negative ones help us to improve your stay.
Some of the fields were not cut before your stay and the long grass does take away the enjoyment of being here.
We look forward to welcoming you again, hopefully you can arrive earlier to enjoy a whole day before a relaxing evening.
