What customers say
Great for watersports & Notts! Spacious pitches, spotless loos/showers & friendly staff get a thumbs up. Kids love the park. Some facilities a bit dated, occasional noise/cleaning requests noted, but management's on it.

Disappointing especially lack of overnight supervision or response
Unpowered grass site
Liked Self check in, plenty of space, convenient drinking water points/toilets/showers
Disliked Very noisy (Rafters) until 2 30am on Sat 13 Jun...I tried ringing the tel numbers provided but no-one answered. I was competing next day in British Masters rowing championships so really, really needed a decent sleep. Very disappointing that no-one picked up, or ensured thr post-9.30pm quiet rule thst was advertised.
Also, the nearest toilet block was locked on Sat morning...
Finally, i was literally the only occupant of Rafters on Sun June 15th, which fely very isolated, especially when nobody would answer the night time calls on the Sat night.

Liked Great location right next to the rowing lake. Spacious pitches and easy check in process.
Disliked Facilities were a bit date which was not too much of a problem but they were not cleaned as regularly as they could have been. Some other campers were quite noisy playing loud music until close to midnight.

AVOID

Liked Location
Disliked Currently there are some permanent residents there with feral children, entering tents rifling through belongings. Jumping on other people's tents. Pouring paint down the sinks in toilets. Adults shouting at 2pm I was in the main central bit of camp site and felt very unsafe there. Not relaxing at all.

Convenience for NWSC…
Powered grass site
Liked Convenience for NWSC
Disliked Very noisy until 1.30am. No obvious control of young children running around & making excessive noise very late at night.
Facilities are getting very tired & tatty. The original gents toilets needs a thorough refurb. Toilets don’t flush properly and were often unpleasant to use
Missing some pitch markers
Not good value for money any more and has gone down in standard over the last few years
