Liked Price was very cheap. Nice lake area, it is a fishing campsite! Electricity and fresh water on your pitch/ key you operate both.

Disliked Facilities were very basic. There were 4 rooms each with a toilet , shower and sink in but no dividers at all in the room so everything got soaked. Only hot water from the sink.

Liked We really liked the girl on the reception lilal as she was so welcoming and tried hard to communicate with us as we were not French speaking. The location for us was also good as we visited St. Omer

We are aware that some of our pitches are located close to the playground. However, the playground is only open during reasonable hours to ensure that it does not disturb our guests.

Our pitches are spacious and offer access to water and electricity, as well as a gravelled area. They are set back from the road, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. They are also conveniently located close to the sanitary facilities and our snack bar and grocery shop, making your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

We are aware that our sanitary facilities are somewhat old. However, please be assured that they are clean and cleaned every day by our on-site team.

We will take your feedback into account and look into improving this aspect next year.

Liked Close to Calais. Very good for start and end to and European Stay. Would have been much better if essential item were available or at at least directions to nearest place. We may have missed this do not a critical since we arrived on a Sunday and most importantly places closed.

Disliked Not much thought the toilets/ showers could be maintended better during busy times.

Regarding the sanitary facilities, we are aware that they are quite old. However, please be assured that our team cleans and maintains them every day. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to clean them every hour. We also make sure to remind our campers to respect the shared facilities and keep them clean and tidy.

Liked A nice welcome and clean pitches. Facilities are of good standard.

Disliked I booked this site specifically for the Carp fishing but was told after fishing for 30min I was not aloud to fish with rod and reel only pole. This is not stated that this site is pole fishing only, I packed up and left to find another site to fish. Be warned! No refund was offered, even after speaking with reception.

It is indeed not permitted to fish with a spinning rod on our Blanc ponds; only coarse fishing is allowed.

We are well aware that the 20-page set of rules can be tedious to read. However, they contain all the internal regulations as well as the specific rules concerning fishing. Unfortunately, on Pitchup, it is not possible to include such a lengthy set of rules. That is why we would ask you to take careful note of the information sent to you by email.

Please be aware, however, that you were under no obligation to leave: the campsite welcomes you whatever happens. My colleagues at reception did not, in fact, understand the reason for your departure.
