What customers say

This glamping site offers a peaceful countryside escape with brilliant locations near beaches and attractions. Visitors consistently praise the exceptionally clean and well-maintained facilities, including private showers and toilets, and well-equipped cooking sheds. The host, Jan, is frequently highlighted for her exceptional helpfulness and attentiveness. While some mention a lack of electricity and occasional phone signal issues, these are generally seen as minor drawbacks in an otherwise highly recommended and well-thought-out glamping experience.

Non-electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked This campsite is small, but very comfortable and well equipped. There are 3 toilets & 3 showers between 5 pitches. The facilitates are modern and clean, with a rustic charm to them. The communal area is a nice touch and place to sit out of the elements. Pitches are a good size, and spaced apart. Slight slopes so would recommend bringing chocks.

The roads to the site were in good condition. Warm and friendly welcome by Jan, who gave us some great recommendations on things to do.

The site is on a working farm, so there are animals nearby, which for us was a bonus as we watched the cows herded in, and had horses come to visit us in the field adjacent to the campsite.

Disliked Nothing at all.

Liked We have had a fantastic weekend at Glamping @ The Paddocks. Peaceful and relaxing with a lovely view. Perfect spot with several beaches close by.
Jan was super helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Although it is a self check in site, Jan was regularly checking in to make sure we were all ok and had everything we needed. Our first glamping experience was fabulous and we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Pembrokeshire/Tenby. Our bell tent was beautiful and showers & toilets were lovely & clean. Thank you for making our weekend memorable. We will be back 🙂

Bell tent

Liked I stayed here with my 3 children in the summer holidays monday to friday. its a lovely site with 4 bell tents well spaced out in a field with horses and cows near by. The tent had a double bed, 2 air beds, chairs and bedtime tables and units for storage and carpeted. it was clean and well set out. each tent has its own picnic bench outside and a cooking shed with gas, camping cooker and cool box with daily ice packs and a bbq too with coal and firewood etc, everything you need for camping and cooking, has a kettle and all the cutlery and plates and pans you need etc. There is also a large under cover area which you can use to cook in or eat at the table if its raining and kids can do activities. Each tent has its own designated toilet and shower so you are not sharing with others. The site is also dog friendly which is a bonus as we had our dog with us too and gave us access to a fenced in dog field along the road which is great. Jan is very welcoming, friendly and always on hand if you need anything, bringing fresh ice packs each morning, making sure everything is ok and offering advice on places to see and visit and even offered to charge any devices if needed as the site has no electricity. The other families on site were lovely too, would definately recommend. This area of Wales is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to see and enjoy here. we were out and about visiting places every day. there is also a train station near by if required to walk to.

Disliked no electricity but we charged devices in car and also Jan offered to charge them at home so its not really an issue, especially if you want to switch off.

Signal is hit and miss, again can be a good thing.

Cold at night so bring extra blankets or a heater?

Liked The site was absolutely stunning, the hosts were so attentive and couldn’t have done anymore for us. The facilities were amazing, the private cooking shed is such a brilliant idea, fully catered for everything including the rain as it is fully covered. The communal area is a fab. Toilets and shower were spotless. The kids absolutely loved the horses that surrounded the site, they were in the element :) thanks for an amazing visit will definitely be returning.

Bell tent

Liked My 11 year old daughter and I had a lovely quiet and relaxing camping experience at the paddocks.

The bell tent and the beds were super comfy and the camping kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

No WiFi and phone signal not great (which is exactly what you need for a camping trip)

Would definitely recommend.

Bell tent

Liked Great glamping tents on a small site. We loved the small site and the facilities were fantastic. The cooking shed had everything we needed and we had fires outside most nights and toasted the marshmallows provided! The toilets and showers were great and there is even a communal area under shelter if it rains. The host is lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend this place and would stay again.

Liked Jan had everything covered and couldn't be more helpful. There was a mix up with my booking and the 2 children and dogs were missed off (I didn't check it before we went, it was a last minute booking and even though I had 2 children and dogs filtered when i searched, it must have defaulted to 2 adults) but it wasn't a problem at all for Jan and she quickly bought us airbeds.
The toilets and showers are immaculately clean.
The shared shelter for when the weather takes a turn is great.
They have covered everything that you can think of on this small site and it puts larger glamping sites to shame with the thought that has gone into it.
We would definitely go again.

In our opinion this is a 5 star glamping site but remember it is a glamping site not a hotel.

Bell tent

Liked What a fantastic campsite this really is. A true gem. The location is really good, the facilities were excellent, the site was extremely clean, well maintained and you can see the hosts have put on so much effort to making the site really a lovely place to be.

The site is situated on a quiet farm, it has 3+1 bell tents that are excellently and elegantly furnished, extremely clean and are made by extra special by the personal touches of hand written notes, selected wild flowers welcome gifts. Inside there’s battery lights, full bedding and extra blankets to use inside or out. Each unit has its only personal kitchen unit next to your tent, complete with everything you’d need, from a hob with supplied gas, pots, pans, kettle, tablewear and crockery. There was even tea, coffee and milk inside cool box with ice blocks, supplied so that you can make a brew on arrival. There’s also a fire pit and bbq, with a little coal, logs firefighters and lighter to get you going. Each unit also has its own personal to you, toilet unit and separate shower unit just 100 yards away, they were excellent and rival some peoples actually homes. (The showers were definitely better than mine). There is a separate car park so the small field site is free of cars, but it’s only a stones throw away, so you’re not carrying bags far at all. There’s also plenty of room for the children and adults to play, frisbee, football, cricket,, whatever really. There’s no electricity on site if it’s a must for you, but nothing a few power banks and battery operated items couldn’t resolve.

The location of the site is perfect for some of the best beaches I’ve ever been too (rivalling Northumberland in my opinion). The sand was so clean and soft, long shallow waters making it perfect for children. And if you want to leave the car on site, the local train station is a 7 minute walk and children travel free. Then train to Tenby to 10 minutes and cost £4 return for an adult. We went to Tenby and did a 2 hour mackerel fishing trip, it was excellent, Catering for all children in the calm waters just off shore, then we brought it catch back and cooked them on the bbq 👌.

If you want a tranquil small site, with absolutely everything you’d need already set up, and you come across this site and find some availability then you really are in luck. Book it now and you won’t be disappointed. My children rated it as the best camping trip they’ve ever been on. And I thoroughly enjoyed the site and local area.

Huge thank you to the hosts for their hospitality, it really was a pleasure.

Disliked Lack of fridge.

More hooks needed in kitchen and shower.

A central wash up block with electric point would be ideal. Communal fridge would really help with catering.
