The campsite and lovely view
A peaceful morning with the cattle grazing nearby
Access track and pitches
All five pitches booked and still a feeling of space and a lovely view

  • Large motorhome pitches on a working farm with a dog exercise paddock
  • A five-minute drive from several beaches and 10 minutes from Tenby
  • Small and friendly site within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
Families, couples, dogs, hikers, surfers and climbers assemble… based in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Camping at the Paddocks is a rural retreat just five minutes’ drive from a cluster of sandy south Pembrokeshire beaches. That’s not all, though, as the harbour town of Tenby is 10 minutes’ drive away too, with yet more sandy beaches, fish and chips and seal-spotting boat trips that visit Caldey Island. Not that you need to worry about driving anywhere; it's a 10-minute walk from the site to Manorbier train station (where it takes less than 15 minutes to reach Tenby and Pembroke) and 15 minutes to a bus stop. A small, friendly place this certainly is, too. The large hardstanding motorhome pitches (with a generous grass area) are set up on a working farm and well provided for, with toilets, hot gas showers, a washing-up area and a sheltered communal area where guests can put their feet up when the weather isn't playing nice. Dogs are also looked after, as there is an enclosed one-acre exercise paddock set just a short stroll away from the pitches where they can have a proper run around. This area is geared up for foodies, with plenty of family-friendly and dog-friendly eateries nearby. St Florence (25 minutes’ walk) and Manorbier (35 minutes) both have a pub and shop, and there’s a garden centre (15 minutes’ walk) with a café that serves everything from coffee to Sunday dinners. Main supermarkets can be tracked down in Tenby, and there's a petrol station five minutes’ drive away too. Nicely fed and watered, you might want to head to one of a handful of beaches five minutes’ drive away: Skrinkle Haven, Lydstep, Manorbier and Swanlake beaches. There are also activity centres, watersports and an adventure zoo set a short drive away.

What customers say

This cozy, quiet spot boasts spotless facilities & helpful hosts. Enjoy the lovely countryside, close to beaches & a train station. Some find the lack of electricity/signal a plus for disconnecting. Minor notes on pitch levelling and no hot water at sinks, but many find workarounds.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite

Liked The site is fantastic! The host was so lovely. The toilets & showers were clean and the extras like the visitors book & day out recommendations were fabulous. We would highly recommend and will be telling others how wonderful it was.

Disliked Only issue was that the pitches weren’t totally level.. however there was blocks of wood provided to help with that.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review and comments - so glad you liked our little site. We really enjoy welcoming people to the area and giving information to help make your stay enjoyable.
As you mention, our pitches are not perfectly level - we hope to have a machine in to address this before next season - in the meantime, we are happy to supply wooden blocks to help with levelling and hope it doesn't cause too much inconvenience.
Thank you for spreading the word about us and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
Many thanks

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite

Liked Very friendly welcome from the owner, who couldn't do enough for the campers with thoughtful touches (bath mats, washing-up supplies, rock-painting, covered barn and pretty flowers!). Very small, peaceful site with adequate facilities. Great location for surrounding villages and beach.
