  • Serviced campervan pitches in the grounds of a Pembrokeshire pub
  • Folly Farm three minutes' drive; 10 minutes to Tenby or Saundersfoot
  • Family-run pub with beer garden and home-cooked meals
Finding a campervan pitch in the grounds of a pub is always a good idea for ease of access to an evening meal and a drink or two at the end of the day. But it gets even better at The Begelly Arms, where you’ll get not just that but also a handy location that puts you within just a short drive of some of Pembrokeshire’s top attractions (beaches, castles and family attractions among them). This family-run pub is about half a mile from Kilgetty, in a very convenient spot close to both the A477 and A478 for easy journeys to all sorts of places – Folly Farm is pretty much just round the corner, and the beaches of Tenby, Amroth and Saundersfoot are about 10 minutes’ drive away, as are places like Carew Castle and Manor Wildlife Park. That means filling your days should be straightforward – and so should catering for your evenings, as the pub has a restaurant serving up home-cooked meals (using local seasonal produce where possible). There’s a good range of drinks, too – including an impressive range of whiskies – which you can sip in the cosy interior or out in the beer garden on sunnier days. You’ll be pitching up in the pub’s car park, which has a small number of dog-friendly hardstanding pitches with grass areas and services including water, waste and electricity. You’ll have access to the pub’s toilets during opening hours, and you can also buy breakfasts in the restaurant if you like. Dogs are welcome on site, but not inside the pub please.

What customers say

This pub stopover offers well-maintained, level pitches with water and EHU, often including a picnic table and artificial grass area. Staff are consistently praised for friendliness and helpfulness. Conveniently located for exploring Tenby and Saundersfoot with a nearby bus stop, it's described as great value. While some noted a lack of showers and on-site rubbish bins, guests appreciated the 24-hour toilet access. Food at the pub received positive reviews, with some suggesting it would be ideal if dogs were allowed indoors.

Fully-serviced hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Frankly pleasant stopover site - I spent 3 nights there. Excellent value for money. The Hotel has a good bar and restaurant.
Electric hook up and WiFi included in price.
Level slab hard standing with water and waste provision at each pitch.
Big carpark. Quite nights sleep.

Disliked No showers - that would be an excellent addition.

From the manager: Thanks for the review we appreciate the comments and glad you enjoyed, In relation to showers when we started we registered with CAMpRA (Campaign for real Aires) and their policy states campers are self sufficient our licence is for Camper vans in a car park and we have grey water waste points for people to put shower hoses into for drainage.

Disliked The toilets were dirty and you cant your leave your rubbish here.

From the manager: Hi thanks for the review appreciated to note your comments regarding toilets and rubbish

1. we are a CAMpRA site and the guidance is that campers leave no trace, and take rubbish home. And we as a business do not supply rubbish bins for a reason, as a business it costs us commercial rates to empty, and we have to recycle our waste so to supply bins for campers would cost us and we would have to have at least 3, which would then push the cost up from £17.50 a night so we elected to stay as the licence says leave no trace.

Our toilets are cleaned regularly but there is an ongoing project about to start to renew the Gents toilets as the floor needs to be replaced, and is scheduled to be done shortly.

Thanks for your stay
