Erwlon Farm Caravan & Camping Park

Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park is a family park catering for tents, touring caravans and motor caravans. Our guests’ enjoyment and safety is paramount and therefore we ask you to read the following Terms and Conditions before making your booking.

In these Terms & Conditions “you” and “your” refers to all persons named on the booking, which includes any individual(s) subsequently added or substituted at a later date. “We”, “us” and “our” all refer to Erwlon C&C Park. Erwlon C&C Park is a trading name of Erwlon C&C Park Ltd.

Advance bookings

Party Size / Age Restrictions
No bookings of more than 4 pitches per party. We will endeavour to accommodate clients that are booked in as a group on adjoining pitches on the Park but we must emphasise that we cannot guarantee it and it is not always possible, particularly when bookings are for bank holidays or part weeks. Bookings from persons aged under 18 years of age are not accepted unless with family members or as part of an organised event with adult leaders/organisers who will be responsible for their conduct.

Cancellation policy
Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. A minimum of 14 days written notice (letter or email), in advance of arrival date will be required from anyone wishing to cancel their booking. If more than 14 days notice is given, the booking may be rearranged to another available date within 12 months of the original arrival date. Cancellations within 14 days of customer’s arrival date will not be transferable or refundable. Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. We do not offer cancellation insurance, however we strongly advise you take out the appropriate insurance cover in the event of cancellation. Refunds cannot be made for any amendments made to the booking on arrival or during your stay.

Amendments
You should notify us of any amendments to your confirmed booking by telephone or in writing (post or email) as soon as possible. Amendments are subject to availability and our cancellation policy (see above)

“No Shows”
Failure to arrive without prior notification within our Cancellation Policy (above) will receive no transfer or refund. Late arrivals must be notified as soon as possible, if guests fail to do so the following applies:
For one night bookings/bank holiday bookings we will retain your pitch until 8pm on the day of arrival.
For bookings of more than one night/at all other times, your pitch will be held until 1pm the following day.
After this period the management reserves the right to re-let your pitch with payment forfeited.

Cancellations and changes made by Erwlon C&C Park
In the unlikely event that the campsite is unable to accommodate a confirmed reservation it may be necessary to offer an alternative of an equal or a superior standard. If at any time we need to make changes that will significantly affect your stay or we need to cancel your stay, we will tell you as soon as possible, offering a suitable alternative or a refund. This does not apply to minor changes or events during your stay, resulting from unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. We cannot be held responsible for cancelling your booking as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of our Booking Terms & Conditions, and we cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation. If a guest or a member of your party behaves in a way that causes or is likely to cause danger, upset or distress to a third party or to campsite or guest property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to curtail the stay and request that the person(s) concerned leave the campsite. No refunds or return travel arrangements will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of such a curtailment.

Extended Stays
Extensions can be arranged, subject to availability and possible relocation, although there is no guarantee that pitches can be extended beyond the date booked. If you wish to extend your stay please check with reception as soon as possible.

Prices and Payment
Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. Our VAT Number is: 990587372. If automated card payment on Pitchup.com fails, customers must contact us immediately to arrange alternate payment. Failure to so so will result in termination of the contract and the booking will be cancelled. We do not issue cancellation notices in such cases.

Arrival / Late Arrivals
Your arrival is welcome from 1.00pm onwards. On arrival please check in at the reception where you will be asked to confirm your occupancy details. Access to the park might not be permitted until payment is received in full. Only persons declared in the original booking can be guaranteed to be accommodated. Removed not applicable to Pitchup.com. We are on site 24/7 and the Reception is normally guaranteed to be open from 9am until 6pm on weeknights (8.30pm on Friday) and 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you are due to arrive after these reception hours, please call us when you are on your way.

Pitch Allocation
Customers will be informed of their pitch number on arrival, the pitch is allocated according to the specified requirements made at the time of booking by a computerised booking system. Whilst every effort will be made to meet specific requirements for a particular pitch e.g. for disabled customers, no guarantee can be given. Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. Before pitching please ensure you have checked you pitch number, as specified on arrival, to avoid being asked to move. Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com.

Awnings.
Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. Please note only “grass friendly” or “breathable” groundsheets or mats are permitted in awnings. During adverse weather conditions you may be requested to take your awning down.

Additional Tents/Gazebos
All pitches are limited to an additional tent for immediate family members only. These must be no larger than a two-man tent or a Gazebo of 2.5m x 2.5m and no more than one per pitch. Visiting family/friends are welcome to contact us to make their own arrangements.

Group Bookings

Groundsheets
It is requested that you lift your groundsheets daily in order to keep our grass in good condition.

Vehicles
Only one car is guaranteed a space alongside each pitch and please note that during adverse weather conditions we might ask you to relocate all cars to an alternative parking area. Extra vehicles or visitors’ cars will be accommodated where possible. Commercial vehicles are only permitted on site at the complete discretion of the park owners/wardens.
No mini motorbikes are allowed on the park. Hot and cold water is provided free for personal hygiene only and not for washing cars and caravans.

Driving on the Park
Please be aware that there may be children playing on the Park so a strict speed limit of 5 miles per hour should be adhered to at all times. We would also appreciate a “no drive” policy between the hours of 10.00 pm and 7.30 am. If you arrive at the park or return later at night please leave your vehicle in the arrival car park until the following morning.

Day Visitors
Day Visitors must report to Reception with their car registration number before entering the Park.

Pets
Well-behaved dogs and other pets are welcome at Erwlon. We are happy for them to be walked around our farm but we would ask you to keep to the public footpaths or our farm tracks and do not enter any fields where livestock are being grazed. Please note that dogs have to be kept on leads at all times including whilst on the caravan park but they can be allowed to run loose in the enclosed dog walk. We do request that you clean up after your dog and if children take your dog/s for a walk they must be supervised by an appropriate adult. Dogs are not to be left unattended. Measures should also be taken by owners to prevent theirs dogs from recurrent barking.

Fires / BBQ’s
Open camp fires are not permitted on the park under any circumstances. Free standing BBQ’s are allowed. Disposable BBQ’s can be used with appropriate stands but must not be placed directly on the grass or any of the park benches/tables. No Fireworks to be set off on any part of the Park. N0 Chinese candle parachutes or similar devices are allowed.

Departure
A late check out of 4.00pm may be possible subject to availability, please check with Reception on the morning of departure. Departure after 12 noon unless by prior agreement will incur a late departure fee. No refunds can be given for departing nights early. Please do not ask as a refusal may offend.

Noise
Please consider your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and first thing in the morning. We will not tolerate unacceptable levels of noise that disturbs others and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the park in the event of unacceptable noise. No loud music is to be played at any time.

Children
The playground/s are for the use of children up to the age of 10 years of age preferably with close adult supervision at all times. We would ask that clients respect our aim to ensure that Erwlon is a restful location for all our visitors and with this in mind we ask that all children play within the limits of your pitch between 9.00 pm and 9.00 am.
The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.

Behaviour
The person making the booking is responsible for the conduct of their party. Customers on the Park must comply with our general terms & conditions for their own and others safety. Failure to do so may result in eviction from the park with no refund. Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park reserves the right to refuse access to customers who have previously breached Park rules, have been asked to vacate the Park, are using caravans for residential or employment purposes or who have previously been refused access to the Park.

Liability
Anyone found defacing or causing damage to any building, equipment or property of the Park faces immediate eviction and/or prosecution. The pitch hirer will be responsible for and charged for any damage/breakages/loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the pitch or to any Park facilities or to other customers’ property. Your vehicles and their contents and accessories are left at your own risk. Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park or its staff/associates shall not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of any property whilst they remain on the Park nor for any injury, accident or mishap to any person in the Park, unless the same be caused or contributed to by any negligence or default on the part of Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park or its staff/associates. Customers must ensure that their property is secure and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality. All caravans, tents and vehicles parked, stored or moved around on and around the site are parked, stored or moved entirely at the owners’ risk. The company accepts no liability for loss or damage to property, or injury to the owner and his/her party, howsoever caused.

Insurance
It is your responsibility to ensure that any insurance cover you have provides adequate cover for your needs and for the duration of your stay.

Our liability to you
We accept liability for, and totally restricted to, services booked via the Erwlon C&C Park website in accordance with the Booking Terms & Conditions current at the time of booking. We cannot accept any other form of liability.

Additional Requests
All additional or special requests are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the provision for special requests. Any additional requests made should be prior to your arrival at the campsite, giving reasonable advance notice.

Third party suppliers
Elements of your break may include services supplied by third parties (for example mountain bike hire). Such third party suppliers will usually have their own set of Terms and Conditions relating to the services they provide. You should consult the Terms and Conditions of any third party either before or soon after making a booking if your break includes such items.

Medical conditions
If you or any member of your party has a medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please advise us so via the ‘’Special request’ box when booking so that we can make provision for the particular needs of the person(s) concerned, or advise you if we are unable to make such provision. If details are not provided to us at the time of booking, the campsite reserves the right as a last resort to cancel the booking should it be unable to make appropriate provision for a specific need or needs.

Circumstances beyond our control
We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include (but are not limited to) adverse weather conditions, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity (or threat of such activity), industrial dispute, natural disaster, or injuries and death of an individual(s) through accidental circumstances unconnected with the campsite.
By making a booking you are accepting responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid to the campsite owner or manager on demand. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.

Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay you should bring the problem or issue to the attention of the owner of the campsite as soon as possible so that all reasonable efforts can be made to rectify the situation. If for any reason the issue cannot be resolved to your satisfaction you should put it in writing. Any complaints arising out of your stay at the campsite that are not brought to the attention of the campsite during your stay are less likely to receive the same level of attention if made retrospectively. Complaints brought to our attention by writing will normally receive a response within 7 working days.

Data Protection and Privacy
Removed, not applicable to Pitchup.com. As part of our on-going monitoring and promotion of the Park we may email you of late availability, future events or developments on the Park. If you do not wish to receive any communication from Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park please email us to opt-out.

We do not send unsolicited email communications and we do not sell, exchange or trade email addresses to or with third parties. Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Making a booking
By making a booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these Booking Terms & Conditions.

We do not accept bookings from under 18 year olds. In the interests of our family based site, single sex bookings of 7 people or more are not accepted via Pitchup.com.

No commercial vehicles accepted via Pitchup.com. As we are a holiday park we cannot accommodate those using caravans for residential or employment purposes.

You should carefully check the details of your confirmation as soon as you receive it. We will always endeavour to rectify any inaccuracies or accommodate any alterations you wish to make to your booking. We cannot accept liability for any inaccuracies that are not brought to our attention within seven days of issuing your confirmation, nor can we accept responsibility for inaccurate information that you have supplied.
