  • Peaceful site five minutes from the ferry to Ireland
  • Four fishing lakes surrounded by acres of green countryside
  • Well-equipped eight-berth static caravan overlooking the lakes

There's plenty of room for all so you can expect to enjoy a peaceful day. The lakes have a wide range of coarse fish: carp, grass carp, common carp, Koi carp, ghost carp, perch, roach, tench and bream, and there's also a tackle shop with live bait and tackle and rods for hire.

If you're planning a visit to Ireland, overnight stays for the ferry are also available, which is only a five-minute drive away. Owners Darren and Hannah are happy to help with whatever you need or to point you in the right direction with whatever you need.

The place was very beautiful, well kept clean. The ponds had some wildlife living in it with a variety of fish and ducks. The days and nights were extremely peaceful, not a single sound to be heard.

    Disliked:

During our stay, we unfortunately went to the caravans after the 25C+ weather and rain causing tiny (completely harmless) beetles to be hiding in corners.

From the manager...

Hi many thanks for your lovely comments.

The beetles you refer to are called Dock Beetles and as you say are perfectly harmless and tiny. We had a visit from the Wildlife Trust who confirmed this and that the reason for them being here was the unusual long spell of really hot weather with no rain. They were drawn here by the abundance of water and willow trees.

Glad that you liked the site and surrounding area. Would be helpful for you to tell us what tlc you felt the caravan needed. Your daughter certainly enjoyed the dogs and getting eggs from the chickens. We look forward to seeing you next year as you said you are coming back around Easter time

Stayed here for 4 nights Mon-Fri in one of the static caravans. The owners Hannah and Darren were so warm and welcoming, it really helped make our stay. On the second day we hired some fishing tackle and had a fishing lesson from Darren on one the lakes; this was so much fun and were not charged for the lessons and tackle hire for the children, definitely worth a go. The van was nice, clean and comfortable. The location of Yet-Y-Gors is great and is so peaceful, handy for Fishguard, some lovely nearby beaches/bays or for heading further south to St Davids. Will definitely return again.

Caravan was great, nice and tidy, lots of room. It was brilliant as there were games to play for the kids and dvd to watch.

If you enjoy fishing you will not be disappointed, the four lakes are well stocked and very well looked after. The surrounding areas are clean and tidy. If your thing is walking then you are going to be thoroughly spoilt for choice, the beaches are fantastic but the hill walking is exceptional. Should you decide to stay in a static caravan then you will find them clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. You will wake up on your first morning to the sound of complete silence, so if you are looking to unwind and relax then you have hit the jackpot here.
I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to two extremely hard working fantastic people, Darren and Hannah. You have a truly wonderful place here, you made us so welcome and thank you for letting us stay on. We will see you soon.
