Liked: Lovely site, with lovely seasonal members, we stayed at the bottom of the field it was nice and flat, dishwashing facilities on site, and clean toilets, the owner was very pleasant, and there was a nice park for the kids, fire pits also allowed as long as there off the floor, Saturday a butcher van came round, and the ice cream van also comes on site nightly, not to far a drive to surrounding beaches also,
Disliked: The showers need to be looked at, as there's no where to actually put your stuff, and they also flood around your feet other than that it was lovely also there is no WiFi at the bottom but I used my own hotspot others may need to get some beforehand

Liked: Good location for visiting Porthcawl, Llantrisant, Bridgend and Margam Park.
Flat pitches.
Nice park.
Ice cream van visits.
Morrisons daily garage within walking distance.
Disliked: We took the caravan around the static site area by mistake - a sign to touring feed would be a good idea!

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Elderly gentleman who met us at reception and then showed us to our pitch. He then agreed we could move to a more peaceful pitch albeit we were left without electricity.
Disliked: Poor showering facilities on site, one showering block was closed and in a very sorry state, which left limited showering facilities which are also in need of updating (eg shower shelves hanging off screws / shower flow more like a hose pipe than a ‘shower’). There are also clearly large groups with many other vehicles parked up around, in party mode which, each to their own is fine, but I wouldn’t describe the noise and shouting as being great for a young family. We moved from an electric pitch (which was located right in the middle of the site) to a non-electric pitch which was in a much more peaceful location and in a field away from the main site.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Large pitches
Disliked: Disorganised. Long way from toilets and facilities. Although toilets was clean, four toilets and showers for whole site is too small if site was busy. Site managers should show campers to pitches as another caravaner pitched within 2 meters and despite complaining nothing done. I moved away in the end for our safety. Disappointed and wouldn’t stay again or recommend. Cheap but not cheerful. Also, although advertised as Wi-Fi, none offered.
