Dan-y-Graig Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto We had an amazing stay for our first time camping with kids and dogs, from a lovely warm welcome in to the camp, the kids were out of the car and straight into the park in the middle of the campground and a stone’s throw from the tent. Clean onsite facilities, quiet and even the ice cream man comes round also just a 5 minute walk to a Morrisons daily.
Margam Park was just 10mins away and a must to visit, car park entry and lots of free activities for kids, as for the beaches all within a very short drive but if you’re up for the walk through the sand dunes at Kenfig Nature Reserve, Sker Beach was beautiful, dog friendly and only a handful of people on it. Thank you for a wonderful first time camping experience.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely beautiful pitch! Warm welcome from Sarah as we arrived, although it was windy and our first time camping a friendly neighbour helped us pitch the tent! They were actually staying an extra 3 days from what they booked as they loved it so much! Park was perfect for our girls, made friends on the first day. Facilities were clean and just what you need, showers warm and clean! Thank you so much, we are planning our time to come back soon! Ice cream van came around twice while we were there too! 7 minute drive to Porthcawl beach and Aldi where we topped up our essentials! Younger crowd at the top of the field while we were there but everyone respected the 11pm curfew for noise!

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely loved our stay. We really didn't want to leave but sadly they had no space available for extra nights the kids had a great time site was clean staff are helpful and polite what more can I say. See you again in a month or 2 😬😬

Mi è piaciuto We was welcomed by Sarah’s son he was very welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know. Amazing place we absolutely loved staying here . The kids really enjoyed them selfs they could go off in the park and ride on their bikes round the site . Very clean toilets and showers . Lots of kids there as well . We will definitely be back very soon we can’t wait 😊😊

Mi è piaciuto We had a great time. Sarah was lovely, the site is fantastic. The field we were on was great we had plenty of space for all of us (15). The facilities are lovely. All in all we all said we would happily rebook this place.

Mi è piaciuto Came home yesterday from a fabulous week at Dan y craig holiday park.
Originally booked 4 nights but after 2 days realised we wanted to stay longer. Sarah, the owner, was absolutely lovely and she was so helpful in accommodating us to stay for an extra 3 nights. First visit here for us but definitely not our last. We had an electric pitch in the main field opposite the children's park and the view and sunsets were amazing.
We had extremely hot weather while we were here and Sarah set up a huge shelter for people to use for some shade opposite our pitch and it was a godsend. Especially the evening of the eclipse. Extra shout out to the kids who had eclipse glasses and kept letting us adults have a look through them 😃.
The facilities are great. Toilets and showers always spotlessly clean.
Site is in a great location, about 6 mins from porthcawl in the car.
Can't wait to return and already looking to book again in a couple of weeks.
Another bonus was the icecream that came round every day.

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly upon arrival and close to the beach. Accepted one night stays and the pitch was very clean and well marked. Ideal park close to the pitch for my young boy and football goals available for him to play on. Shower block and toilets were clean. Highly recommend.

Everyone who stayed on site, semi permanent or just visiting where really nice friendly people.

Facilities were very clean and the park was really nice.

They really do take good care of this site AND it’s in a great location between Swansea and Cardiff

Mi è piaciuto Brilliant location, cosy site with clean and tidy facilities. Good park and clear communication leading up to and during the stay. Sarah was brilliant at getting us settled in and giving us recommendations on where to go. During the stay she checked in, made sure we were all okay. I definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for a calm place to stay. The park being in view of the tent was brilliant as well, we could let our kids play in peace and not have to worry that they had run off.

Non mi è piaciuto Only dislike was the wasps - they loved our food as much as we did, but a pop to the shops to get Peppermint oil and tea tree oil did the trick.

Good clean showers, toilets and utility room.
