What customers say
This campsite boasts a stunning location with beautiful views and is praised for its spacious pitches and on-site pub. It's considered family-friendly with a popular play area for children. However, a recurring theme in reviews is the state of the toilet and shower facilities, which are frequently described as basic, dated, and in need of refurbishment. Some visitors also noted noise from the nearby road and occasional issues with rule enforcement regarding noise. Pricing was also mentioned as being high by some guests.

Wouldn’t stay again :-(
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice quiet location with lovely scenery.
Disliked Grass in Field 2 was quite long & needed cutting. The toilets & shower blocks were awfully run down & need work. Old rubbish lying round which makes it look scruffy. The advert was deceiving as it showed Horses in a field, our daughter was disappointed when we were told they never existed!

Liked Camp site was in a lovely spot and food in pub was excellent but a little expensive
Disliked Toilets need a spruce but usable

Not worth the money. £28 to park in a field with gross facilities.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked It’s just an open field with a pretty view. Was very chilled and quiet. There’s a nice little park for kids.
Disliked The road next to it is very busy all night so I advise staying at the back of the field if noise disturbs you. The showers and toilets are awful, we didn’t use them. It’s expensive for what it is. We only stayed 1 night but I wouldn’t have stayed any longer and wouldn’t go back. I would not have been happy to have had my kids there with the state of the showers/toilets.
