  • Adults-only North Wales farm site close to Snowdonia and the coast
  • Conwy, Llandudno and Zip World Betws-y-Coed 20 minutes' drive away
  • Rural location with hill views, a micro pub and a small off-licence
It’s a thoroughly grown-up setup at Ty Ni, a peaceful park on a Conwy county farm about 15 minutes’ drive from Colwyn Bay. This is an adults-only park that’s all about creating a quiet space for taking in the gorgeous views over the hills of North Wales. To boot, it has a lovely micro pub and a small off-licence – that's your afternoon drinks sorted. This location, a short hop from both the coast and Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, makes Ty Ni an excellent base for a varied break, taking in all the attractions this area has to offer. Whether you’re into gardens, castles, gentle walks, adrenaline adventures or seaside days, it’s all here within easy reach… However you choose to fill your days, you’ll be coming back to a well-kept site that’s not been overly developed but has all the essentials on hand, including washing-up sinks, a washing machine, ladies’ and gents’ toilets and showers, plus chemical waste/grey water facilities for tourers. You’ll spot a few eco-friendly touches too, like facilities for recycling and composting waste. Barbecues are permitted at this park if you’d like to spend an evening cooking outdoors while taking in the lovely rural views – as well as the small shop on site, it's not far from several local village shops for additional supplies or the bigger supermarkets in places like Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. There are also several pubs and restaurants close by that are worth checking out.

What customers say

This adult-only campsite on a working farm offers peaceful stays with beautiful countryside views. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful owner, Carolyn, the spacious and level pitches, and the excellent, hot showers. An on-site honesty shop is a convenient addition. While some found the facilities basic, they were consistently described as clean and functional. The rural location is ideal for relaxation, though a car is recommended for exploring nearby attractions.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Found this little gem of a site set mid way between Llandudno & Conway on a working farm .....
Carolyn & Dil are amazing hosts , nothing is to much trouble
The views are stunning with 360 degree views from each pitch, site even has an honesty shop which is very well stocked and very reasonably priced , showers and toilet block were very clean and always plenty of hot water .....
Enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for August and looking forward very much to our next stay

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Small site with 10 Spacious level pitches. Good directions Amazing showers and clean toilet block. Carolyn is welcoming and very helpful.
There's also a kettle and microwave which are available to use.. very handy !
Immediate roads are mostly single track and quiet so perfect for walking the dog. Chose not to go on any public footpaths out of respect for cattle and sheep.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Everything!! What can we say. Excellent hosts, from careful directions for a large motorhome, to brilliant help and absolutely brilliant fun peoplw too. Carolyn and Dil just are lovely people. Hard working on a busy farm, taking great care of us all. Facilities are great and toilets etc spotless clean. They went the extra mile and we even met some baby cows and the sheep this morning. Absolutely honoured it was so lovely. I personally fell in love with the farm the second we arrived when greeted by the friendliest herd of cows at the fence line near our pitch. It literally made my day each day seeing them and the horses. We can't recommend highly enough. The campsite is set in beautiful countryside amongst the rolling Welsh hills, the place is so quiet and peaceful and just beautiful all around. A working farm, and a friendly pair of hosts. We arrived strangers and left friends. We cannot wait to return x x

Bliss electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (hot tub)

Liked What a gem this site is! A beautiful, peaceful location with views for miles. I booked the Bliss pitch and it definitely was Bliss! The wood fired hot tub and electric sauna were an absolute treat to unwind in! I had my very own toilet and shower which was fab, as well as a covered cooking area with a breakfast bar, the perfect setting to relax and take in the scenery and the ponies of course! The pitch was nice and level and everything was clean and tidy! The little shop on site is fab for some munchies too!
The owners were so helpful and definitely went the extra mile! Thank you Carolyn!

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked Nice and remote, great views from all the pitches, friendly host, large pitch (pitches varied in size but ours was large) lots of cattle and sheep and horses around as this is a working farm with many farms in this area. No kids.

Disliked Nothing to dislike. The site shop has some essentials but no shops or pubs, cafes or restaurants close by but that’s a small issue if you want this peacefulness. Site shower and toilets adequate and clean.

Bliss electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (hot tub)

Liked We stayed at Ty Ni. Adult only campsite in Colwyn Bay for two nights last weekend. Its a lovely quiet and dog friendly site on a working farm. Carolyn the owner made us feel very welcome and kindly lent us a hook up cable when we ( the hubby) had forgotten ours. The facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean, loads of hot water. There's a washing machine, dryer, toaster and microwave in the laundry room. There's ponies in the field and chickens that come to say hello. We booked The Bliss. This is a small hut with two rooms. You have your own shower, toilet and wood burning hot tub and also a sauna. The next room has a seating and cooking area. There's also plenty of room outside to sit. Theres a small shop, and soon to come in 2026 an onsite pub. I highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Route directions

If you are towing or driving a large motorhome, following the postcode LL22 8BE can take you down some very narrow lanes. At Abergele, turn onto the A547 first and then onto the A548. The Satnav will tell you to turn right all the time but these are narrow roads good only for campervans and smaller vehicles. If yours is longer and wider, keep to the A548 until you reach the B5113 to Colwyn Bay on the right. Carry on along the B5113 – the turning for the site is on the right just past the Holland Arms pub car park, there are signs, and the site is 250 yards on the left down the road. Please take care that you do not enter Pen y Bryn cottages by mistake. What3words location: lived.beeline.flamingo.

Local attractions

There are so many great places to get out for a walk around here, it might be tricky to know where to start. Among the top choices are the pretty village of Llanrwst (15 minutes’ drive) for a stroll to see its famous three-arched bridge, or Capel Curig (half an hour), which is a well-known hub of walking trails. For gentler strolls, plan trips to the likes of 80-acre Bodnant Garden (10 minutes), filled with formal gardens, meadows and champion trees, or check out the castles in Conwy (20 minutes) and Caernarfon (45 minutes). The colourful Italianate village of Portmeirion (55 minutes) is a popular day-trip destination, as is the seaside town of Llandudno (20 minutes) for a walk on the pier and perhaps a tour of the Penderyn distillery followed by a sip of their whisky. Up for a bit more action? Sign up for one of the adrenaline rushes at Zip World Betws-y-Coed (20 minutes) – perhaps a ride on the forest coaster or a go on Europe’s highest swing?
