  • Adults-only North Wales farm site close to Snowdonia and the coast
  • Conwy, Llandudno and Zip World Betws-y-Coed 20 minutes' drive away
  • Rural location with hill views, a micro pub and a small off-licence
It’s a thoroughly grown-up setup at Ty Ni, a peaceful park on a Conwy county farm about 15 minutes’ drive from Colwyn Bay. This is an adults-only park that’s all about creating a quiet space for taking in the gorgeous views over the hills of North Wales. To boot, it has a lovely micro pub and a small off-licence – that's your afternoon drinks sorted. This location, a short hop from both the coast and Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, makes Ty Ni an excellent base for a varied break, taking in all the attractions this area has to offer. Whether you’re into gardens, castles, gentle walks, adrenaline adventures or seaside days, it’s all here within easy reach… However you choose to fill your days, you’ll be coming back to a well-kept site that’s not been overly developed but has all the essentials on hand, including washing-up sinks, a washing machine, ladies’ and gents’ toilets and showers, plus chemical waste/grey water facilities for tourers. You’ll spot a few eco-friendly touches too, like facilities for recycling and composting waste. Barbecues are permitted at this park if you’d like to spend an evening cooking outdoors while taking in the lovely rural views – as well as the small shop on site, it's not far from several local village shops for additional supplies or the bigger supermarkets in places like Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. There are also several pubs and restaurants close by that are worth checking out.

What customers say

This quiet, adult-only farm campsite boasts beautiful rural views. Guests love the welcoming host, Carolyn, and the spotless, well-kept amenities, especially the great hot showers. The handy honesty shop and cute micro-pub are big hits. Spacious, level pitches make for a chill vibe. Though a bit windy sometimes, it's a top spot with lots of return visitors.

Liked Very quiet, small site, in fact the quietest place I've stayed.

Good, clean facilities with lovely hot showers. Though we didn't use them, there was a toaster and microwave that were free to use and a washing machine to use for a small charge.

There's a small shop and bar on site though we didn't use either.

Carolyn was a lovely and friendly host.

We'd definitely stay again.

Liked Just returned from a short stay at Ty Ni and it won't be the last.
Booked just the day before arrival and having escaped a somewhat "lively" site the 2 nights prior, this was heaven.
The remote location and peace was perfect and the views from the pitch spectacular.
Carolyn and Dilwyn were great hosts and work hard to make this place what it is.
Facilities are simple, but spotlessly clean and with lovely hot showers you couldn't wish for more.
The little bar and shop added to the experience and it was the perfect end to the day, watching the eclipse (poor as it was) with other guests, pint in hand.
No music, no kids, just like minded folk having a well earned break.
Thank you, Steve & Netty.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite

Liked Nice small, farm based caravan site £30 p/n. Very friendly owner who courtesy called me on the day we were setting off, and then personal welcome on site as we arrived. Allocated both a hard standing and grass patch on pitch, loads of space for 2 of us and 2 German sheps. Electric hookup and water tap not far away. Toilets and shower facilities no complaints at all. clean, hot water, plenty of sinks. A nice touch was the DVD library in each which we borrowed a few films to watch of an evening and also deposited a couple ourselves for the collection!! :) basic shop and small bar (in the back of repurposed truck trailer/storage unit or something) on site which we never used but nice to have. Good location for base camp sight seeing as we go out in the car with the dogs for 6-8 hours and come back to unwind. There was a nice little forest walk we found nearby, Coed Coch on B5113, 5min in car where we could take dogs for a quick morning exercise before breakfast. Peaceful and quiet. Loads of local things to visit. Would definitely recommend. Thanks

Disliked Only gripe is that the chemical disposal said "Green only" when I come to empty it on leaving, which wasn't made clear, as we are new to this and only have the blue and pink for toilet.... so have to drive back a toilet cassesste 80 miles and empty at home. Also it was hard to get the waste master up that drainage ramp (50kg of water!!!) so that wasn't good either.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: 1st thank you for your review the green means biodegradable sorry 😔 and with motorhomes if you haven’t used chemicals you can just let it drain has driving off . We are in process of doing a drive over grate . But held back because nobody else has complained. If you’d rang me I could have explained.

Liked Everything was great.
Received a text message a couple of hours before the ETA we had given, with pitch number.
Arrived on a beautiful sunny afternoon to stunning, far reaching views out to sea, but in a lovely rural area where we immediately felt at home.
Set up camp and met Caroline who suggested a nice circular dog walk (road but we only saw 2 cars) with incredible views and a few nice houses to admire.
Went to the bar for a drink, there were other guests there so everyone had a nice chat.
Highly recommend the local cider.

V quiet night, no traffic noise (no traffic!).
Went off to parkrun in Conwy (I mention this because I know park runners like a bit of a recommendation) which is about a 15 min easy drive.
Shower and loos spacious with good water pressure and lots of warm water.
Little dressing area with hairdryer (50p in a jar)
Wash up area with 2 sinks, kettle, toaster, microwave ( free to use) and washer and dryer ( chargeable of course)..
Tons to do in local area - we went to Conway castle and Llandudno and went up to Great Orme which was sensational.
No kids was icing on cake.

Bliss powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (hot tub)

Liked We had the most wonderful stay at Ty Ni Bliss Pitch and honestly couldn’t fault it! The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
The pitch itself was perfect, with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna making it feel like a real luxury escape. Having our own private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen was also a huge bonus and made the stay so comfortable and convenient.
It was the perfect place to switch off, unwind and enjoy some quality time away from the hustle and bustle. Sitting in the hot tub, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the peace and quiet was just bliss!
We would definitely recommend Ty Ni Bliss Pitch and can’t wait to return. A beautiful little getaway that we didn’t want to leave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Then turn right onto the B5113 to Colwyn Bay. Keep on the road and come to the Holland Arms (a closed pub). The turning for the site is on the right; signs are visible on the left. Local attractions

There are so many great places to get out for a walk around here, it might be tricky to know where to start. Among the top choices are the pretty village of Llanrwst (15 minutes’ drive) for a stroll to see its famous three-arched bridge, or Capel Curig (half an hour), which is a well-known hub of walking trails. For gentler strolls, plan trips to the likes of 80-acre Bodnant Garden (10 minutes), filled with formal gardens, meadows and champion trees, or check out the castles in Conwy (20 minutes) and Caernarfon (45 minutes). The colourful Italianate village of Portmeirion (55 minutes) is a popular day-trip destination, as is the seaside town of Llandudno (20 minutes) for a walk on the pier and perhaps a tour of the Penderyn distillery followed by a sip of their whisky. Up for a bit more action? Sign up for one of the adrenaline rushes at Zip World Betws-y-Coed (20 minutes) – perhaps a ride on the forest coaster or a go on Europe’s highest swing?
