What customers say
This campsite offers stunning mountain views and a peaceful, "wild camping" feel with friendly farm animals roaming freely. Guests praise the helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, and convenient location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. While some facilities are described as basic and in need of updating, others found them adequate and clean. The access track was a concern for some but has reportedly been improved with tarmac. Many visitors would happily return.

Great location, great views, friendly staff. A little heaven on Earth!
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Fantastic views, in the middle of nature, friendly staff and lots to do in the vicinity.
Disliked Toilets were clean and regularly checked although they were looking a little 'tired'. For the facilities available I feel it was slightly overpriced.

Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Vieles sehr improvisiert.

Liked Absolutely loved this place ,great views lovely farm animals and super friendly owners my dog broke his harness and the owner was straight up with a harness from one of her own dogs that I could borrow which I thought was so lovely. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend 👌

Rustic, back to basics, wild-feeling camping in a stunning location.
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Fabulous location
Friendly owners and fellow campers
Animals and surrounding wildlife
Great for walking / mountain biking with direct access to trails
The view!
Disliked Needs more / improved toilet facilities when busy - also had issues with water supply during our stay which was due to current drought and obviously outside the site's control.
Was quite expensive given very basic facilities but was made up for by the view.

Liked Great location for hiking the brecon beacons
Lovely friendly owners

Disliked Only 1 shower for the whole campsite which could be an issue when busy and water ran out
WiFi hit and miss

If you don’t mind rustic with basic facilities this is a lovely spot.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting and views, the kids loved having animals around and lots of places to explore. A great location for exploring the area with plenty to do nearby. Talybont has a good shop and cafe, canal side walks and tram road walk up the reservoir. Walks in talybont forest behind the campsite also lovely.
Disliked Toilets and shower need cleaning more often, not enough of them for a full campsite (2 loos, 1 shower). Water went off twice (sorted fairly quickly) and shower was cold.
