Ik was blij met Before we began our stay, the owner contacted us to say that they recognised we were part of a larger group and would try and get us all on one pitch - which they did. It was a great pitch, complete with a shelter and picnic table.

We enjoyed the relaxed nature of the site, the views and the friendliness of the staff. It was a great place base ourselves.

The site was clean and tidy.

Ik was blij met The views were breath taking, well worth the steep hill climb to camp. The owners were very welcoming, with many optional extras such as BBQ to hire and wood supply which was a great help. Plenty of toilets and good washing up facilities, we chose the busy weekend (bank holiday) so the washing area was busy, but normally would be ok. No wifi, but we still had signal at the top of the hill.

Ik was niet blij met As a new camper facilities seemed basic, but ok for the couple of days camping we did - so I wouldn't suggest for first time campers

Ik was blij met The views are amazing. When shower had water it was nice and warm.

Ik was niet blij met Awful toilets and shower. Shower doesn't have a light so pitch black when the door is closed. On our first night there wasn't any water at all so we couldn't wash our hands, shower, wash dishes or even flush the toilet. Majority of pitches are not on flat ground so very uncomfortable.
Very steep hill to get to the camping area, high chance or damage to cars. If the ground is wet I imagine it wouldnt be accessible.

Ik was blij met Open field. Basic facilities. Wonderful views. Friendly people running the site.

Ik was blij met Reasonably quiet for a site on a farm (could hear cows and sheep a lot but didn’t bother us), and beautiful views.

Ik was niet blij met Do not stay at this site if you value your vehicle, unless you drive a 4x4 or a tractor! To access the site (once you manage to find it due to lack of signage!), you have to drive up a very steep, very poorly maintained track, which is best described as a dirt track. My Peugeot 2008 took an absolute beating to get up it, to which I am less than impressed with! Thankfully only stayed 1 night so only had to do it once.
Also, only 2 (dirty) toilets and 1 shower (can’t comment on this as didn’t have time to line up to use it!). And the pitches are far from level - making finding a suitable area to pitch up near impossible.

Ik was niet blij met The toilets and shower could do with some additional lighting. Toilets did not flush too well.
Completely appreciate the owner has dogs and they roam freely which we understand although out dog was kept on leash as required and one of the dogs was a little aggressive to him which then put us a little on edge for the stay.

Ik was blij met Great location, had the field to ourselves for most of the time and the views were amazing.

Ik was niet blij met Toilet and shower facilities were basic, there was no light in the shower so even in daylight when the door was closed you couldn’t see and the water didn’t drain away quick enough so the floor flooded and there was no where to hang stuff.

Ik was blij met Superb location, unbeatable views of the mountains, only a few minutes drive/ten minute walk to Tal y Bont with excellent pubs, shop and Indian restaurant.

Ik was niet blij met Camp facilities very poor. Toilet block not acceptable, generally derelict outbuildings not at all suitable for children under ten.
