Liked Very chilled atmosphere, love that you can choose where to pitch up. Field is well kept and tidy, washing up sink area very handy and loads of extra bits for you to use if you forget your own. Bathrooms are tidy, didn't use the showers so can't review those, though the hot water was an unexpected lovely surprise from a non-electric campsite.
Love the ivy wall in the bathroom, could do with some solar fairy lights for midnight visits 😉 but that's just from a gal that loves sparkles. The lovely lady that welcomed us is very friendly and clearly explains where everything is. Little shop close by only takes cash, but I like that! Tesco a short drive if you need anything else.
Also love that you can pack up and leave at any time of day...made it so easy to come back from our walk and eat with our tent still up, then pack up to go, rather than the get up, pack up and need to be off site by 10am ,then go for a walk, like most sites are.
10/10 very happy campers! 😊

Liked Basic campsite. Wonderful scenery and amenities fine for basic site/price. Sheep were nearby and noisy but could just be time off year.
Lots of great deals nearby including the four waterfall walk.

Liked Lots of space, facilities well maintained, toilet/shower blocks regularly cleaned and stocked up. Plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. A great basic site in a great location. Walking distance to waterfalls walks. Easy access to shops by car, and great pub 1.5miles away.
Disliked No playground, and sloping field not so good for ball games.

We had a lovely stay! Quite rainy but that's the beacons!!! A fairly slopey pitch, but generally fine as long as you're sensible.
Disliked Loo roll ran out so bring your own - common sense!

Liked Easy to find, stunning view, plenty of space. Basic toilets facility with hot water, shed showers( I did not used), washing up area. No lights on site(which is awesome, coz the night sky is beautiful), so make sure you have your torch.

Liked I liked that you could just pitch up and then the owners came around to check you in that evening. It was a great location to explore the 4 waterfall trail and we really liked being able to park next to the tent and set up a fire.

Disliked Unfortunately there were a large and very noisy group staying. Shouting and playing loud music well into the night. They kept waking the farm dogs who then barked incessantly. Vans moved away to other pitches to get away from them. The small toilet block by the bungalow was great, but the toilets at the bottom of the field were dirty, had no loo roll and the sanitary bins were overflowing.
