What customers say

This is a quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained campsite in a beautiful rural location with stunning countryside views. Guests highlight the friendly and helpful owners, clean and modern facilities including a good shower block, and spacious, level pitches with water points. Highlights include excellent stargazing opportunities and proximity to a river. While some found the location remote and noted occasional narrow roads, the overall experience is highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked The views are great and it is a very quiet site with walks by the river and a field to let the dogs run free , if there is no livestock.

Disliked Having to to pay £5 for each dog.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Great rural campsite located in the countryside west of Tregaron (W. Wales). Located adjacent a large dairy farm, in a lush green valley it was a quiet retreat and base camp, to meet family in the nearby area. Very clean washroom block, plenty of water points and electric hook ups. Meena, the Owner was very friendly, helpful and informative about the locality and places to visit.
A really great, relaxing stay.

Disliked Confused over some narrow roads and direction of travel at times.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Excellent little site, camped here for 4 nights. From the minute we arrived until we left everything was perfect, menna greeted us with a welcome bag and took the time to have a lovely conversation with you (really a lovely lady)shower block was spacious and lovely hot showers, nice laundry and dish washing area, lovely views, plenty of cows 😉 but not a problem. Ideal base for visiting little towns I would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Local attractions

Getting up into the heart of the Cambrian mountains for a proper hike will take about half an hour in the car; for a little warm-up there are several trails you can follow directly from the site. For more strolls, head to Cors Caron Nature Reserve (15 minutes’ drive), where you can follow the old railway line or take the boardwalk around the reserve. Also very much worth a wander are Devil’s Bridge Falls (35 minutes), where a waterfall cascades into a stunning wooded gorge, and routes that take you to the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey (25 minutes). The National Trust estate at Llanerchaeron (half an hour) is another popular spot, with a walled garden, a wild park area and a lake as well as the John Nash-designed Georgian villa itself. And of course there are always the gorgeous walks of the Ceredigion Coast Path to add to the mix too – or you could head straight to lovely coastal towns like the colourful harbour town of Aberaeron (half an hour) or New Quay (40 minutes), the jumping-off point for dolphin-spotting trips and other sea safaris.
