  • Peaceful site in Llanarth, five minutes’ drive from Cardigan Bay
  • New Quay 10 minutes’ drive; easy access to beaches or coast path
  • Dogs welcome; pub, shop and bus stop within walking distance
A warm west Wales welcome awaits at Llanina Caravan Park, a family-friendly Ceredigion site on the edge of the village of Llanarth, 10 minutes’ drive from New Quay. This peaceful site is a place where you and your other half or family (including the dog, of course) can chill out among far-reaching views of the lush Welsh countryside. It’s also a place that prides itself on keeping the facilities immaculately clean and well maintained – a new toilet/shower block has been installed for the 2026 season and you’ll also have access to a washing-up area, a dog wash and a wifi service (with a strong signal across the park). Each of the hardstanding pitches here is nicely spacious, with a grass area that makes a great spot for an evening barbecue and drinks. Don't fancy cooking? Handily, the village pub is a short walk away, with home-cooked meals and a range of drinks. This site is well placed for all sorts of adventures around the west Wales countryside and coast. A bridle path can be picked up close to the park, taking you out through scenic countryside and eventually to the coastal town of New Quay (a well-known hub for dolphin-spotting, with a good range of places to eat as well – from fish and chip shops to classic pubs or cosy bistros). Venturing further afield should be straightforward as well: a bus stop is an easy five minutes' walk from the park, with services to destinations including Aberaeron, Aberystwyth, Cardigan and Haverfordwest.

What customers say

This is a newly refurbished, quiet, and immaculately maintained site with spacious, level pitches and excellent, clean facilities including showers, toilets, and wash-up areas. Many reviewers praised the helpful and friendly new owners. The location is ideal for exploring nearby New Quay and beaches, with a pub, shop, and bus route within walking distance. Minor points raised include patchy EE mobile signal, music in shower blocks being a little loud for some, and the narrow bridge access to the site.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Shower and toilet facilities. Quiet site. Level pitch. Well laid out facilities. Easy to get to location. Good pub nearby. Good information in advance regarding pitch number. Map of site and facilities.

Disliked A bit of a distance to carry cassette toilet for emptying as only one CDP on site. More geared up for caravans than motorhomes and those who have wheeled waste tanks.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked What a lovely well presented site, facilities were very clean even had a dog wash, well more a dog salon. The van next to us forgot his electric lead and it was no issue for the site to loan said item.

Pub a short stroll and a short bus ride into New Quay. Really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely salty again.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked The site was clean and tidy and the facilities were new and clean. There was good communication, and site has a local bus stop which connects you to Newquay and other beaches.

Disliked I don’t like dislike, there wasn’t to dislike. I prefer constructive feedback, one thing the men’s toilets are exposed so you can see anyone using the left hand urinal. There is frosted screening but it’s not quite in the right place.

Local attractions

There are two sandy beaches a short drive away – take your pick from Cei Bach or Traeth Gwyn (both 5-10 minutes’ drive). Linking the two (and the whole of the rest of the Welsh coastline) is the Wales Coast Path, where you can walk for many miles with the sea in sight. New Quay (10 minutes) has a variety of boat trips, with the daily dolphin-spotting trips a real highlight. Further afield, there are two beaches in Aberystwyth (40 minutes), separated by the Royal Pier, which is home to an arcade, assorted dining options and plenty of alfresco seating. The sights at the top of Constitution Hill can be reached via the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway. There are plenty of inland options too: take a walk around the National Trust's 18th-century mansion at Llanerchaeron (20 minutes), putter along on the Teifi Valley Railway (25 minutes) or see the cosy exhibits at the National Wool Museum (25 minutes).
