What customers say
This spotless, quiet campground has spacious, level sites and top-notch facilities, including large, hot showers. Recently renovated by attentive owners, it's near a great pub, shop, and bus. New Quay and beaches are a short drive. Dog-friendly. Minor EE signal/shower time issues didn't mar the great stay.

Location was good
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Location was good, not too far from most points of interest in the area. Great pub/restaurant 5 minutes walk away, with great beer and really nice food and friendly staff.Very tidy site and great size pitches, very level unless you're a perfectionist. Facilities were spotless, the showers are huge and last long enough to get wet and soap yourself, a little bit longer and you could rinse as well. The music in the showers and toilets was great, Radio 2 so plenty of passable music. You get an allocated pitch 24/48 hours before you arrive and get a welcome when you've pitched up, if they're doing their rounds. If you have any problems there's a number to call.
Disliked No internet through EE, but you can't have everything.

Liked Lovely quiet site, huge pitches and great toilets/shower. Really close to new quay and aberaeron and very easy to get too. Pub in walking distance, petrol station and premier convenience store in walking distance too. We had a fab stay here and would definitely recommend.
Disliked It’s such a wonderful site but I didn’t like the music in the toilets 24/7. Especially at 2am when we got up to use them as it was just a bit overstimulating. Or maybe if it was a bit quieter? (You can’t hear the music from the pitches fyi only when you’re in them).

Liked We recently stayed here with our dog and had such a wonderful experience. Having visited several touring sites in and around New Quay over the years, this is without doubt our new favourite.
The site is small, peaceful and immaculately maintained, with generously sized pitches. New owners have put lots of care and attention into every aspect of the site and their hard work is clear to see. The chap looking after the site was very welcoming and was working round the clock making sure everything was tip-top, even in the sweltering heat!
The facilities are excellent. The shower and toilet block is modern, spotless and clearly checked regularly throughout the day. We stayed during the recent heatwave, so the large ventilation fans were very much appreciated. The showers themselves are spacious, with private changing areas, and were always clean and well presented.
The location is ideal, with easy access to the site and a short drive to New Quay, local shops and some beautiful beaches. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The new owners have done an outstanding job since taking over, and it shows in every detail. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run base for exploring the area.
Disliked The only minor point worth mentioning is that mobile signal on the EE network was a little patchy during our stay. However, this is entirely outside of the owners’ control and certainly didn’t detract from our experience. We used a WiFi dongle on the Three network, which worked perfectly throughout our visit.
