Liked: Fab site, shane the park warden is a credit to the park full of useful information and more than happy to help, we stayed for an extra night as shower block was so new and clean, the best sunset we have seen over the sea, and red kites flying over camp all day, wonderful site.

Liked: Red kites were flying all over the campsite only about 10' above the tent, it was amazing.
The views were stunning, a nice hill behind the campsite and a pebble beach on the campsite itself, depending on where you pitch you could literally open the tent to see the sea rolling in at the end of the field.
Toilets and shower block was amazing, spotlessly clean, spacious, not covered in midges like most campsites.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, as were the other long term caravan owners we met.
Disliked: When we arrived we tried to pitch our tent near the sea, happy to brave the wind. Sadly the tent pegs, very solid ones at that just would not go into the soil, there was about 4 - 5 inch of soil but past that it was just rock. We then moved our tent further away hoping for softer ground but still had the same issue. Thank fully the member of staff on the entrance lent me his drill and a long masonry bit to get the pegs through the rock and to replace the pegs that we bent beyond function able use a caravan owner lent us some more pegs, crucailly his pegs were shorter and went in just fine. A local shop in Aberaeron sold us some identical shorter pegs the next day and we fixed it all up.
The only other slight downside was that there was clearly a food van (possibly pizza or similar) and covered seating but this was all locked up and not being used. Possibly they only open it in peak summer.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (sea view)
Liked: Fantastic location, our pitch over looked the sea. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The shower blocks are of a high standard and the area also had a laundry room. They have a small park for the children and there’s plenty of space to be able to run around.
Disliked: No dislikes! Was a very pleasant stay.

Liked: Loved this site. Excellent location beach front. Superb toilets/ facilities. Lovely surprise on the Saturday evening. Little barn / bar opened up on site with local female singer. Meet some lovely people on site , even a resident who stays on site for 7 months of the year who instantly helped us with hook up. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
Disliked: The weather ( but this nothing to do with the site) unfortunately was very windy

Liked: The friendliness of the people, the cleanliness of the site, the shower block is stunning. There was a bar and a singer on the Saturday- we didn’t go as children asleep but what a great idea! The site feels safe for kids to be kids! The beach on the doorstep everything was just amazing! We will be back (maybe not when so windy)
