Liked: Nice quiet location with lovely, clean facilities. Pitches nicely spaced out. Love how organised it was. The info sheet had everything you needed to know. And very impressed at the list of places to eat-found this is reception. Sectioned into eat in and eat out, with notes on delivery etc-so handy and well thought out.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.

Its such a shame you did not do some research about Wick before coming. There is so much to do in the town and loads of places to eat, you really missed out on some amazing attractions.
Things to do – Caithness Sea Coast, The Heritage Museum, Orca and Dolphin watching, The Trinkie and North Baths historic tidal swimming pools, Beautiful Riverside and coastal walks, the Caithness At War Trail which explains all about the important part Wick played during WW2, The Telford Trail which explains all about Thomas Telford’s connection to Wick, Ebenezer Place which is the shortest street in the world, the Blackstairs where L.S. Lowry painted “Stairs at Wick”, the castle of old Wick, Wick Harbour, Old Pulteney Distillery, Sinclair Girnigoe Castle, Staxigoe Harbour, and a few miles north are the miles of golden sands at Reiss Beach, where there is also a golf Course.
Places to eat – No. 1 Bistro, Norseman Hotel, Queens Hotel, Nethercliffe Hotel, Printers Rest, The Riverhouse, Morags Café, Bridge Street Café, Wickers World, Devitas Pizzeria & Café Bar, Bord De L’Eau, Spice Tandoori, Telford Community Café, Tesco’s Café, Puldagon Farm Shop & Restaurant just outside Wick, plus eleven takeaway establishments dotted around the town.
Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches

Regarding Wick town centre, it is no different than most town centres these days post COVID, especially with the turn towards online shopping, and is due to get a £2m investment later this year, however Wick has so much to offer, with a number of great places to eat, loads of beautiful walks with stunning sea views and cliffs, ruined castles, Caithness Sea Coast, the Heritage Museum, an award winning marina, the Black Stairs where L.S. Lowry painted his famous "Steps at Wick", Orcas and Dolphins, to name but a few.

Unfortunately we do not have a restaurant on site, but we do have an indoor lounge that has a self serve bean to cup coffe machine that uses lovely premium Lavazza Italian coffee beans. The coffee machine serves espresso's, latte's, americano's, cappachino's, flat white's, mocha's, hot chocolate and tea.
We also have two built in microwaves in the lounge for guests to use to heat their own food, and our shop stocks a good selection of ambient and frozen ready meals which can easily be heated in the microwaves for convenience.
