Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
- No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
- A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
- Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.
- This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Liked: Everything. Great division between tents and motorhomes and nicely spaced out pitches. Nice, well looked after site and the facilities were the best we’ve experienced in Scotland

Liked: Excellent local Inn and Specialist Choclatier - in pretty wooded location
Disliked: Communal facilities were dirty and poorly designed. Still no clear idea why the 2 blocks could not be separated for men/women? No separate wash basins. Pitch facing a wood fence - felt like sleeping in a car park, and less than inspiring. Not informed that only one wash station was in use

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. We are very sorry that you found our facilities dirty. We take pride in our facility and we thoroughly clean the facilities daily as well as spot check and clean them throughout the day where needed. We have only ever received full or near to full marks on cleanliness so I am sorry that we fell short of our high standards on this occasion.
All of our toilets and showers are self contained units with nudity prohibited in the exterior shared areas, with CCTV cameras monitoring the shared areas for safety. Each section is non gendered for operational efficiency and has (as well as the basins in the cubicles) 2 separate wash basins in each section.
We stay open right through the winter so for 6 months we have pretty low numbers. If we only have a few tent campers and a few campervan campers then we only need to heat and clean one section per level. This system also means that when we are busy and both sections of each level are required we can clean each one in turn and our guests will still have facilities including accessible bathrooms to use on each level.
The fact that we have unisex facilities is well advertised on our website and our PitchUp listing in the hope that people who do require gendered bathrooms will be able to make an informed choice about whether this site is right for them or not.

Liked: Good stop if you’re needing facilities while traveling Perthshire, as I did following a sweaty hike. Scotland needs more campgrounds with facilities as wild camping and the “right to roam” often mean finding a shower is impossible, so I do really welcome this practical option with nice new, clean facilities.
There are two very nice pubs/cocktail bars in town. They are refreshingly upmarket, so if you fancy a proper cocktail and/or chef’s menu, you’re in luck!
Disliked: It feels a bit automated and corporate as there are lots of security cameras and codes to enter to get in/out of certain areas. Screenshot your emails so you have the codes on arrival!
I got lucky with campervan pitch 2, which was tucked away at the corner (although this meant no WiFi… and my EE had no signal there either). But if I had been in most of the other campervan pitches, I’d have felt quite packed together with others. Totally fine for a 1-2 night stop while taking advantage of facilities, but if you’re looking for something a bit more wild, open and spacious to disconnect from civilization, this isn’t a great option. But it’s a great stopover on your way to/from the wild.

Liked: Very clean shower and toilet block. Neighbouring pubs
Disliked: Cramped tent pitches despite large vacant neighbouring areas of grass. One of the two pubs is an overpriced gastro pub.

Liked: The quiet family atmosphere, near the river Tay and three great places to eat in the village. Also small shop/ post office which is walkable, across the river in Strathtay. Great showers. Lovely smell of pine around our pitch due to recently trimmed trees.
Disliked: Could have been useful to have phone charging station available for campers.

Liked: Site was ok. It's personal choice but we weren't really feeling it. The showers were a bit naff and very little space to get dry but the site was.... okay.
Disliked: Very little views and we got the sense that more money was spent on how things look rather than how they function.
