If we could think of something to rhyme with Aberfeldy, we would most certainly grace you fair Pitchup.com readers with our best lyrics as we’re feeling mightily inspired by Aberfeldy Caravan Park and the gems surrounding it in the old Scottish district of Breadalbane. Home to world-famous poet Robert Burns, and made more popular still by its status as the first Fairtrade town on Scotland’s map (so if you ever needed an excuse to shop, you best come here), Aberfeldy has something to make everyone break into a little song (and even a dance).

After a green and rural getaway? Then you’ve picked the right spot. Impeccably manicured grounds and garden provide spacious and level tent and caravan pitches at the park, all accessible by a clearly marked path, then take one step through the gate on to the footpath that runs between the site and the River Tay and you’re slap bang in the heart of the Scottish countryside.

When you’re not admiring the view of the River Tay or the Strath Tay landscape thick with hillsides and trees from your pitch (it’s enough to make anyone come over all poetic), the sprogs will enjoy the open space in which to run around and the well-equipped play area on site. The pitches have electric hook-up with is metered and charged to prepaid cards, charged as used at 12.5p/kwh. The site has clean shower and toilet facilities and a laundry service, along with other handy amenities, and you can bring your pup along for a plentiful helping of Scottish air too. Scattered with picnic benches so you never have to turn your back on the scenery, this site offers everything you could want for a family-friendly, outdoor holiday. Close to many top tourist sites as well as quieter jaunts for walkers, however chilly it gets in the highlands of Aberfeldy, a warm welcome and busy holiday awaits here.

Please note

A pass is required to fish in the River Tay. Various pass types (daily, weekly, etc.) can be purchased from a local shop a few minutes walk from the park.

Electricity is metered onsite at 12.5p per kWh and must be paid on departure depending on your usage. Please use the 'special requests' box if you wish to book the hook-up.
