  • Peaceful park overlooking Findhorn Bay, 10 minutes’ drive from Forres
  • Findhorn Foundation five minutes’ walk; Nairn Beach 20 minutes’ drive
  • Pristine shower facilities; organic on-site café and grocery shop
Ten minutes’ drive from Forres in the Highlands and Islands, and with a spectacular setting overlooking gorgeous sandy Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth, Findhorn Bay Holiday Park is a quiet camping and touring site next to the renowned Findhorn Foundation, a model for sustainable community living. On-site facilities include modern and pristine shower facilities, a chemical disposal point, and a laundry with coin-operated washing machines and a dryer. There is a small children’s playground to keep young guests occupied, and dogs are welcome at the park, but must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after please. The Findhorn Foundation runs a café serving delicious organic food (Thursday to Saturday) and an award-winning organic grocery shop, which also sells souvenirs and books. Close by is the Universal Hall, a 350-seat theatre staging a full roster of entertainment. The pretty village of Findhorn (five minutes) has two pubs, two cafés, a marina with a water-sports centre, a bakery and village store.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (small)

Liked: I arrived and was received very nicely. they still had an accommodation available and offered it to me at no extra cost. I am very grateful to them. In addition, there are good toilets. and surroundings are great.

Disliked: the toilet floor could be cleaned a little better. everything else was perfect.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Large well planned out campsite, good sized pitches. Clean and heated shower/toilet block. Good location, next door to Findhorn eco village where there is a health food shop, cafe, pottery and weaving shops, and events on in the community centre. Findhorn village is close by and there's several beaches in walking distance. Short drive to Forres and Lossiemouth and other local attractions.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Posh new toilets/showers Friendly staff Good location easy access to forest and beach Quiet site when we visited

Disliked: Rubbish/recycling bins, some more labelling would help, maybe a sign on the bin store explaining what goes in which bin.
