Liked The caravan was on a great pitch.
Everything clean and well equipped for our mon -Friday stay with our grandsons

Disliked The entertainment programme was a bit rubbish for our 9&11 years grandsons..the 7pm show was aimed at much younger kids..then nothing for them..they were happy playing at the park etc..lucky we had good weather..

Liked Beach area was nice and kids enjoyed the entertainment.swimming pool was nice

Disliked Too many cars but that can’t be helped due to the size of the site.

Liked Good clean site with good amenities and great scenery

Disliked Small pitches, had a caravan behind us with about 2m in between, pitch on a slope, rabbit droppings everywhere, food over priced, cater more for static caravans than motorhomes and caravans.

We're sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay didn't meet your expectations. As a rural park, our natural surroundings mean that local wildlife, including rabbits, are part of the environment, although we do our best to keep the grounds well maintained.

We're also sorry that you found your pitch smaller than expected and not as level as you had hoped. Liked Nice clean facilities. Good sized pitches. Beautiful scenery, private beach was amazing. Auchfest was great for adults and kids.

Disliked No one checking on anti social behavior- 4 am a motor home with people outside were still up shouting, swearing , drinking. We did hear the security driving by but clearly they didn’t have windows down to hear.

Liked Location of holiday park was excellent, the play parks for the kids was great and swimming pool was clean and tidy

Disliked Got put on the pitch site 4g tent site, the grass was 45 degree angle with no flat surface, phoned our of hours number and we thankfully got moved to up closer to the toilets on a flat bit of grass but still on a slope , heavy stream directly behind us when tenting with a 3 year old and no hot water to shower in the toilet block, it sounds like I'm having a go but if we got placed on a flat pitch and had hot water it would have just topped off whats was an amazing time away

Liked The site was so clean and tidy, the showers are spotless and hot. Staff were friendly and visible throughout the day. Lots of play area for kids inside and out and plenty of lovely places to get the dogs out for their own adventures.
Id booked the wrong dates and the staff changed them for me without any issue or charge.

Disliked We unfortunately booked the same days as the cast of watership down. Rabbits everywhere - ordinarily this would be soooo cute but with reactive Bulldogs we struggled to avoid carnage. Thankfully no wabbits were harmed by our dogs.

Getting WiFi would mean signing up to PayPal so we didnt bother but there was an Internet cafe available

Although accessible the site is hilly so those with mobility issues like myself should consider this when booking, there are paths to every venue though

We had to smile at your description of sharing the site with the "cast of Watership Down" The local wildlife certainly likes to make an appearance from time to time, although we appreciate that this can be a challenge for guests with reactive dogs. We're glad to hear that no rabbits came to any harm and hope your Bulldogs still managed to enjoy their stay.

Thank highlighting the Wi-Fi sign-up process and the site's hilly terrain.
