What customers say
This is a scenic, peaceful site with stunning views, conveniently located close to Oban and ferry links. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities including showers and toilets, and well-stocked shop. The site offers choice in pitch selection and is popular with families due to its play park. However, some experienced issues with unlevel or waterlogged pitches, the road access, and the quality/availability of drinking water. Ongoing development work has also been noted.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Access to hot water for washing up.
Toilets and showers were clean.
Good location for access to the Kerrera Ferry (albeit a bit of a hike).
Disliked The site is up a steep hill so be prepared to add a fair Hike on at the end of a long day adventuring.
The Water is unsuitable to drink without boiling (due to upgrading work) so bring bottled water if you don't take a kettle with you.
The ongoing works means there's a fair amount of heavy machinery noise during daytime hours - just something to be aware of.
The showers are somewhat tempermental; we stayed in the top field - there were 2 showers in the female toilets, the one on the right see-saw'ed from freezing cold to scolding hot. The one in the centre seems to be stuck on the cold side of acceptable.

L’environnement super, la propreté des sanitaires pas folichon
Electric grass touring pitch
Disliked Les sanitaires bouhhhhh!!!. Sachant que c’est quand même entouré d’herbe , je pensée ça devrait être passé au crible vraiment !!! Minimum 3 fois par jour. La douche était carrément bouché avec l’herbe et moi je ne met pas mes mains la dedans .

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The area. The views. The grass pitches
Disliked The toilet facilities. Too little showers. Not enough toilet blocks. Need upgrading

Brilliant site with beautiful views from your pitch. Highly recommend
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting, good amenities for what we needed, easy check in and friendly staff.

Would never visit again.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Reception Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked No drinking water on site. Toilet/shower facilities were substandard and filthy. Pitched were uneven and had numerous water-filled holes where vehicles had been previously bogged down. Cut grass left uncollected carried into showers on people's shoes and made the overflowing showers so much worse. Had to mop up water with an old mop before I could reach the urinals. By far the worst site we have ever visited, and one of the most expensive.
