- Family-run site in green surroundings, 20 minutes' drive from Aberdeen
- Five minutes' drive from cafés and restaurants in Peterculter
- Games room, playground, TV lounge/dining area and indoor soft play
With a cracking coastline, comely castles, city lights, cultural attractions and championship golf courses on your doorstep, your only complaint will be how on earth to deeside what to do first... So come along to Deeside Holiday Park, a splendid, scenic and most nifty base for venturing round the landscapes of Royal Deeside and north-east Scotland as well Aberdeen only nine miles away.
This is a laidback, friendly and family-run park, with peaceful leafy surrounds on all pitches, and an excellent range of facilities including a games room, playground, dog-walking area and TV lounge and dining area; there's also loads of green space to stretch out in or run around on. Also for your convenience are a well-equipped laundry and a spacious, heated block housing the showers, toilets, baby-changing and family rooms.
Barbecues are allowed and the site has a food shop, but several cafés and restaurants are in Peterculter five minutes' drive away, and a handful of takeaways also deliver to the park.

Local attractions
Not for nothing is Deeside the favourite summer stomping ground of the royal family: it’s an area rich in culture and history, and the scenery is breathtaking.
From Deeside Holiday Park, you’ll find it easy to reach all the top attractions: follow the castle trail to visit Balmoral an hour away, as well as other gems such as Crathes (10 minutes), Dunnottar (20 minutes) or Castle Fraser (25 minutes). You could (should) also ramble around the ancient recumbent stone circles sprinkled across the countryside; or make the short drive into the 'granite city' of Aberdeen to the maritime museum or the art gallery, or to make the most of the excellent shopping and restaurants.
It's whisky a go go in this part of the world too, so it would be rude not to support the local industry with a tour of one (or several) of the many distinguished distilleries nearby...
If needed, you can clear your head with some walking, cycling or horse riding, or hit the River Dee for kayaking, canoeing or fishing; and, given the number of excellent golf courses in the area, there’s no chance of the golfers in your party getting teed off.
