Small campsite with adequate facilities to meet our requirements in a nice quiet rural location. Good proximity for the Bristol to Bath Railway path which we cycled all of over a weekend. Owner (Peter) was very helpful and friendly.

This campsite is in a lovely quiet area. The site was flat and well drained and therefore easy to pitch. The owner was friendly and helpful. It is ideally located to access both Bath and Bristol and we had a great few days.

    Disliked:

The toilets! There was no electricity and therefore no light in the toilet block. As the site was in the middle of the countryside, this made showering at night almost impossible and going to the toilet wasn't easy. The sinks only had cold water and so you could not wash properly. The shower itself was good, with hooks to hang clothes and towels and lots of hot water. We were there for 4 nights and in that time the block was only cleaned and the bins emptied once. As there were bark chippings on the way in and it was wet when we stayed: you can imagine what the floor was like each day.

We stayed for a few nights, and found that for the length of stay we were there it did the job perfectly fine!
It's basic, to the point and good value for money. The camping field we were in was a little cramped but as I say, for a few nights did the job!
