A well established one and three quarter acre lake and a half-acre camping field with rod hire available, Boyd Valley Lake is by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the bottom of the Cotswold escarpment, on a quiet country lane with close links to two major cities.
This family run campsite is in a very quiet setting with only 12 pitches, half a mile off the main A431 between Bath and Bristol.
It's an ideal site to relax and spend time whilst enjoying all that the local area has to offer. A local village store and pub are within walking distance.
Whether you want an escape from it all break or simply a idyllic spot to base yourself, Boyd Valley Lake is the ideal place.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.

Take the A431 from Bristol or Bath. In the village of Bitton turn left from Bristol or right from Bath onto Golden Valley Lane. The site is 3/4 of a mile along Golden Valley Lane and the entrance is on your right; there is a blue sign on either side of the gate saying Boyd Valley Lake. Drive up and the pitching area is on your left.
Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells Catherdal city and National Trust properties Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park, Priory Park, Lacock Abbey are all nearby.
Stonehenge is a little further afield.
Attractions at Bristol include the dockside, Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain, all served by Temple Meads station.
Attractions in Bath include the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent, Jane Austen Centre, Sally Lunns Tea room, Bath Spa.
Within a mile of the site there is Bitton steam railway, Bristol to Bath cycle track, two garden centres and coffee shops.
