- Small friendly glampsite in the Mendip Hills 10 minutes from Cheddar
- Spacious setting by a bluebell wood, on the edge of a working farm
- Within a 30-minute drive of Bath, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare
Nettwood Country Breaks is a small and friendly park on a farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the middle of the Mendip Hills, with views across the Chew valley.
The glamping units are situated in well-thought positions on the edge of the owners' working farm and next to a bluebell field, set close enough for families who want to be together but spaced enough for privacy. There's plenty of space for kids to explore the woods, for adults to relax and for wildlife watching all around: listen to birdsong from your decking and look out for roaming deer.
Extra showers and toilets were added to the site's clean and well-kept amenities in 2018.
Campfires/barbecues are most welcome but please be considerate to fellow guests. The owners are happy for guests to collect fallen wood from the woods.
The local village has a shop selling essentials and two pubs serving food and with child-friendly gardens. All are within a two-minute car journey or an energetic 15-minute walk.
