This site offers a peaceful, natural setting amidst an apple orchard, popular for its spacious, well-defined pitches and the charming presence of roaming peacocks. Visitors appreciate the excellent location close to the canal for walks, local pubs, and shops. Facilities are generally reported as clean and functional, though some suggest they could benefit from an update. Liked Able to select your own pitch. Very clean toilet/shower block. Peacocks roaming around. Easy check in / check out and easy to locate.
Disliked Pitches very close to busy, main road which disturbed us a lot of the night with boy racers revving engines.

Liked This is an absolutely beautiful site. The people were friendly and welcoming and the Peacocks were fascinating. I loved the fact that if you are in the touring field, you can just choose wherever you like.
It was super hot on the day we arrived, so we found a beautiful little apple tree to pitch up under.
We will be back. Thank you 🙏😊🙏

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Really liked the site. Nice how you can pick your pitch in the orchard. Good they have the extra toilets there, saves having to go up to main block. There is a busy road behind the hedge but didn’t bother me. Site was quiet at night. Loved the wandering Peacocks, lovely seeing them checking out all the people on their pitches. Really close to the canal. Will be going back soon

Don't stay here if you don't like early rising peacocks or road noise.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The site is pleasant and friendly if a little tired. Plenty of apple trees to find shade as it was very hot. Nice dog walking along the canal and country park easily accessed on foot from site. Lovely to have the peacocks roaming and we didn't mind their early morning calls or the road noise, it is not a motorway! Good mobile signal too.
