A stay in a luxury GlamStreams Airstream caravan at Brookover Farm sound appealing? GlamStreams is found along a private drive in the Mells River valley, just outside the lively town of Frome in gorgeous Somerset countryside. It’s on a private estate where sheep and horses abound, and it’s a relaxing spot for you and all the family to unwind. Each Airstream is fully fitted out with a kitchen, bathroom and heating, plus all linens are supplied for the beds, so this is a luxurious take on camping. Add in the glorious riverside setting of the site and it means you’re sleeping in rural surroundings – just not sleeping on the ground. Outside there are firepits in the private alfresco seating areas, and lovely views at every turn may tempt you to spark up a barbecue. If not, simply pick up dishes from the takeaways and farm shops within 10 minutes’ drive. The Airstreams have their own river frontage and fishing is definitely on the agenda. From the site, it’s easy to join walking routes or link to the cycle path that runs from Mells and Radstock. Golfers may like to head over the hill to the 18-hole Orchardleigh Golf Club (five minutes’ drive). GlamStreams is convenient for exploring trendy Frome (five minutes) with its cobbled streets, markets and independent shops and bars, and you can all have a fun-filled day out at Longleat (20 minutes).
