What customers say

This is a well-maintained and friendly campsite with excellent, clean facilities, including individual shower and toilet cubicles. Visitors praise the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lakes, and family-friendly amenities like the playground and games room. The site is also highly regarded for its dog-friendly spaces and the helpfulness of the owners and staff. While most guests had a positive experience, a few noted some building noise and a lack of privacy on certain pitches.

Quantock View camping pod

Liked We were sent emails in advance, which we found really helpful and included everything you would need to know before arriving. The site was easy to find.
When we arrived we were booked in quickly, our pods were lovely & spacious. Also very clean.
The campsite is fab, with more enough to do such as a childrens park, dog agility course, games room and a shop. Definitely recommend purchasing some honey!
We were even provided fire pits with our pods, which was a great addition. The toilets & showers were probably some of the cleanest we've seen.
This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Disliked Nothing at all. Wish we stayed longer!

Lotus bell tent (family)

Liked Lovely bell tents, really well equipped and clean. Great dog walking area and the lakes were nice to walk around. The campsite hosts were really helpful and friendly. Great stay.

Disliked Toilet and shower area was a smelly. But assume that is down to the weather and septic tank.

Lotus bell tent (family)

Liked Loved everything about this site.
Exceeded expectations and we really enjoyed our stay.
Booked a last minute night away for a friends birthday. The belle tent was super cute and comfy. Was not expecting the extra little touches. Wine glasses cutlery a kettle, washing up bowl tea towel and other items we didn’t even use! The fairy lights were super cute and the beds were really comfy.
We had so much space outside, a picnic table and a girlie which we made use of.
The portaloo in our field was really clean and had an air fresher we were pleasantly surprised. The washing facilities were really good and the honesty shop whikst we didn’t use it was a nice addition.
This wasn’t a rowdy site and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay great value for money. We were very lucky with the weather so I’m sure this added to how we felt about the set up but even if the weather wasn’t great it would still have been a lovely stay
I have put a one on wifi as we didn’t even try to use it so can’t comment

Disliked Nothing everything was great

Local attractions

Burton Springs' closest chunk of coast is at Burnham-On-Sea about seven and a half miles away. Seaside resort Weston-super-Mare is a few miles further along the coast from Burnham; for the Exmoor coastline, stretches of shoreline and sand like Kilve, Dunster, Minehead and Porlock are a short drive in the other direction. The South West Coast Path, Britain's longest long-distance path, starts from Minehead on its epic 630 miles via the coasts of Devon and Cornwall to finish up at Poole Harbour in Dorset. If this is a tad too much, other hikes around the region include the Quantock Hills, England's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; Brean Down, a Site of Special Scientific Interest managed by the National Trust, and the Mendip Hills, also an AONB and home to splendidly spectacular Cheddar Gorge. The Burton team also reckons guests should take a look at the small wildlife and adventure park Tropiquaria, the National Trust's Dunster Castle and Fyne Court, the Bakelite Museum at Wilton, the RSPB reserve at Greylake, and the rides and attractions of Brean Leisure Park. Paintballing is available at Cannington Park, nearby at Bridgwater.
