Portesham Dairy Farm Campsite

Liked Fantastic campsite and well located between Bridport and Weymouth. Our pitch was a good size and flat. Electrical provision was consistent. The booking process was easy and arrival was prompt with little fuss. Very tidy and clean site. Toilets and showers were well serviced. A fantastic range of vending machine with quality food items available.

Liked Great site - we had one of the larger pitches for a campervan with a large awning for 4 adults. Our pitch had an electric hook up, water supply, grey waste and TV connection. All the facilities look brand new and were more than adequate. There’s a bus stop right outside, which will take you most places that you would want to go - Abbotsbury is just one stop away. There’s also a pub and farm shop (with a cafe) right across the road. Onsite has vending machines and a small kiosk selling ice cream. Customer service was excellent when I had change to a bigger pitch.

Disliked Unfortunately the pizza vending machine was not working whist we were there - I really wanted to try that. The site is “open plan” - there’s no fencing or hedges separating pitches. This didn’t really worry us, but it might be an issue for others. With a full site, there might be issues with over crowding of some facilities.

Fantastic communication with plenty of information sent over in good time before the visit.

The site is easy to find and plenty of top up/essential items on tap at the vending machines. Definitely recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice.

So chilled and so easy and central to get to places like
Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Dorgester, Lulworth Cove and many more in this lovely area of Jurassic Dorset.
In walking distance there is a lovely pub called the King's Arms that have good beer and lovely food.
The Ducks Farm shop is also worth a visit as the sausage rolls are to die for.
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable week and we will definitely be visiting again.

Liked A lovely peaceful, well kept and immaculate site.
Shower block was very clean and very well maintained.
The vending machines were fab. My son loved the milkshakes.
The staff were lovely, very helpful with information regarding the local area.
Loads to do around the area.
The WiFi worked throughout our stay.

Liked Lovely quiet, well located and clean site. Pitches were all nice and level and the toilet and shower facilities were always clean. Was away from the business of Weymouth and the main coast road gave way access to all beaches along it. Would definitely stay again and the staff on front desk were always very helpful and happy to help.

Liked Absolutely lovely site to stay. Made so welcome on arrival, so accommodating and helpful.
The showers and toilets were absolutely spotless.
The dogs field was so well kept and a wonderful size for dogs to play plus a little stream at the top for them to have a dip in.
The local bakery and pub were so good and good value for money.
We fell in love with this site and the surrounding area. Definitely will be back.
